Our 2 story cabin is on a park-like wooded lot in a community that is surrounded by Big South Fork Rec Area. White Oak has an internal trail system and direct access to the O&W trail head. Our cabin serves as the perfect 'base camp' for the adventurers for folks who just want to relax and get away from it all.
The cabin has an open floor plan with an eat-in kitchen and living room that features a gas fireplace, hardwood floor and lots of beautiful cedar and knotty pine wood work to make it feel really cozy. There is one bedroom with a queen size bed and a bath on the main floor and on the second floor there is one bedroom with a queen size bed, plus a sleeping loft with a full size futon and bath featuring a deep relaxing Jacuzzi tub. We have a covered front porch with comfy rocking chairs and a large, private back deck with table and plenty of outdoor seating. There is a gas grill and a charcoal grill for cooking out. The private back deck overlooks the lovely wooded yard that includes a great fire pit with wooden benches and plenty of firewood provided.
Also in the back yard we have a nice 2 stall barn and turnout paddock if you want to bring horses and take advantage of the hundreds of miles of amazing trails in the area. The semicircular drive allows for easy entrance and exit even for large rigs. At each end of the driveway there are RV hook ups (one has water/sewer/electric and one has water/electric). We even have a bonus camp site on the far side of the property with a separate drive with water and electric that is available for an additional charge.
You will be in the heart of all that the beautiful Cumberland Plateau can offer. Centrally located, our cabin is within a short one hour drive to Dale Hollow and a little over an hour drive Center Hill Dam. There are 8 parks within minutes including Pickette State Park and Cumberland. You can also be in Pigeon Forge in about 1 1/2 hours. Just minutes away from the cabin you will find that quaint, historic town of Rugby is a pleasant way to spend an afternoon.

We are confident you will find our cabin one of the most comfortable and relaxing destinations in the area!
My name is Abby and my husband, Scott and I purchased our dream vacation get away and want to share it with you! We refreshed and refurbished this awesome cabin and I am confident that once you have stayed you will have to come back.
Scott and I were high school sweethearts and have been married for over 30 years. We have one great son, Thomas and an awesome daughter in law, Staci who have given us our first grandson, Weston and will soon be providing us with a new granddaughter!
We live in southern Ohio and are very active outside even though we have different passions. After family, of course my husband loves classic cars and Harleys and I love horses, horses and horses and my dogs. Thomas and Staci love hunting, fishing, trail riding, boating and riding ATVs. So it’s obvious why we vacation in this area.
Our goal is for you to love our place as much as we do and want to come back again and again!
Abby Fox purchased this cabin in 2014
You can count on Abby's "Leisure Living'" cabin to be exactly as pictured and described! Located in a horse community, it offers privacy, proximity to recreation areas and serenity, making it a perfect get-away destination with or without horses. Her immaculate home was appointed with everything we needed from coffee to corkscrew; paper goods to rockers. Ahhh...
Really enjoyed our stay at cabin. Very comfortable and well equipped we stayed for 3 nights and never started the truck. The owner was very prompt to respond to questions and easy to contact. Everything was exactly as described. The location has privacy yet a very secure feel we meet several neighbor that were very friendly and helpful pointing us in the direction of the trails. The barn and paddocks were great for the horses and the trails were wonderful will definitely rent cabin to trail ride again soon. Thank you Abby
We completely enjoyed our stay and the cabin was exactly as described. We are long ride trail riders and cabin was a perfect fit. The cabin is close to the park trail head and only a 10 trailer drive to put you in a comfortable ride to the O&W bridge. The barn gives you plenty of room for tack and is very well kept. The paddocks were excellent. You can easily put 4 horses in each paddock. If you love to trail ride, this is a great cabin in a great location. The community was filled with knowledgeable locals that did nothing but make you feel welcome and share their knowledge to help you make the most of your ride. The owner was quick to respond, completely knowledgeable, and spot on with any question we had. It was a great experience and we would love to go back again.
Really enjoyed the time in the cabin, it had everything we needed from grilling to cooking and everything in between. The owner was friendly and very easy to contact. The area is near the park, and had many different access points to different areas. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfy, quiet peaceful getaway! The property was clean, everything that the listing said was there, was there...
The cabin was very comfortable, had a cute cowpoke décor, and was pristinely clean. The kitchen was very fully stocked with everything we could possibly need to cook up a hearty meal after hiking. There are other cabins nearby, but not so near that it really detracted from the wooded solitude for which we were searching. The trees were everywhere and it was very quiet and peaceful. My family of four humans and one dog enjoyed our stay very much. We hope to come back and bring the horses next time. Thank you for a lovely stay!
This cozy little cabin was the perfect getaway. When we arrived we were thoroughly impressed by the feel of the area and the amenities available such as a great outdoor space with a fire pit and firewood provided! Our outings included the quaint town of Rugby and some hiking at Big South Fork which I highly recommend. We're already looking forward to planning our next stay!
