About Heather Parente

I grew up in Michigan and studied Special Education at Michigan State University. I worked for some time as a Special Education Teacher with young children and elementary-aged children. I also worked in the mental health field with behavioral health in the 3-12 age range with children and their families. I moved to Asheville 12 years ago. My husband and I met here. We love hiking, being in nature, and going to spiritual events. I love the visual and musical art world as well.

Heather Parente purchased this apartment in 2013

Why Heather Parente chose Weaverville

This property was bought in 2013 because the air feels great out here, it's quiet and close to the highway. We are 15 minutes from Asheville and I like being far enough away, yet close enough to frequently go there. The 2.5 acres here are fantastic and I love listening to the wildlife.

What makes this apartment unique

Quiet and comfortable space on the ground level of our home with a king-sized bed. This studio-apartment is easy-access. There is an updated and workable kitchen with a nice refrigerator and microwave. The 2.5 acre property is amazing and huge, and I love the creek. The porch is a big benefit as well, and I love watching the sky and stars from there. Water comes fresh from the aquifer and is good to drink straight from the kitchen faucet, as it is filtered.

Great stay!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay at Heather’s place. It had everything we needed for the one night and was just under 20 minutes to get to downtown Asheville. We would stay again!

Heather’s place is amazing!

  • 5 of 5

We loved staying at Heather’s place. It was really easy to get to and the first thing you notice when you pull up is the beautiful yard. It was very cozy and was everything we could have wanted. Heather was super nice and very helpful in giving us suggestions on where to eat, park, etc. We will definitely try to stay here again next time we visit Asheville.

Great space in a peaceful and quiet setting, but close to everything

  • 5 of 5

I played a tennis tournament in Asheville. Heather was great and took care of any problems I had. The room and bathroom were a much larger space than I expected and the shower was great after a tough day on the courts. This place is definitely in the country, but an easy drive to everything in and around Asheville.

Premises clean, comfortable and conveniently located to downtown Asheville.

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this private home. Quite, rural surroundings hidden not too far off the interstate. The space was comfortable, clean and large enough for a family of four. Access is via a separate private entrance. This is an efficiency unit so you can prepare meals. The owners are very nice but not at all intrusive. I would recommend this home away from home to my friends. The listing description is accurate.

Perfect location, perfect place

  • 5 of 5

From the start Heather and her husband were so sweet to us. My mother, myself, and my three month old daughter stayed a weekend here. After spending our first day in Asheville, we came back to find a children's book Heather left with a little note for my daughter. It was so sweet. This place was very nice, clean, a good price, and a great location because it's out in the country enough to be quiet and peaceful but also close to all the attractions and downtown Asheville. I highly recommend this place and will stay here again if I travel to Asheville in the future.
