We welcome you to enjoy a piece of our lovely Island by staying at Orchard Manor. Our property (1 acre) is located a walk away from pink sandy beaches found on the western end of the island - Daniels Head and Long Bay Beach, two great beaches for the family. Collect shells on the shoreline or get up close and personal with sea life. Let the kids play on the playground if they don't want to be in the water.

Our property has a large front yard for entertaining, great for weddings and big celebrations. Our back yard is a more private setting for BBQ'ing with the family. There is a small gym on the property featuring an elliptical, recumbent bike, stationary bike, free weights etc. There is also a Pool & Jacuzzi (not heated, warms up from Sun) and a Pool House on the property.

This two bedroom, two bath unit has a queen size bed in one bedroom and two full size beds in the other bedroom. The kitchen/living area is combined. This is a very spacious two bedroom unit.

Cable television, wireless internet, central A/C and beach equipment (floatation devices, beach towels & chairs) are provided.

In addition to this two bedroom, two bath unit, there is a very large three bedroom, three and 1/2 bath unit which is also listed on VRBO #506733.

Amazing property-Friendly Owners

Our stay at Orchard Manor was amazing! The owners Stan and Sandra were very friendly and hospitable! They made sure we had everything we needed, which is especially fantastic when traveling with an infant. Stan and Sandra are very well organized and well informed of things to do and see. They organized our ride from the airport so we didn’t have to figure it out once there, which was so convenient! They even took us to the grocery store to get a main grocery shop done for the week. Stan and Sandra are lovely people and very interesting to converse with.

We always felt safe anywhere we traveled in Bermuda and we often traveled by bus. The people are very friendly there!! We also felt safe while staying at Orchard Manor because the property is gated off.

I would highly recommend staying at Orchard Manor! We had an amazing family vacation there!

Amazing spot!

We had a great time at Orchard Manor! Stan and Sandra are excellent hosts. As soon as we arrived, they helped us get set-up with groceries and bus tickets. The property is beautiful and located in a part of the island that is quiet and has beaches right around the corner. It's also a quick commute to the beaches, Dockyard, and Hamilton. Highly recommended. We hope to visit again.

A wonderful week on Bermuda

The Smiths are the ideal hosts. They were gracious, very welcoming and helpful all week, even driving us to the market and to get bus passes. The house is in a nice neighborhood in Sandys not far from the Dockyard. An easy walk to the bus stop also brings you to Misty's Takeout (cash only) which has some very good local food choices. Straight bus rides took us to Hamilton, the South Shore beaches and the Dockyard. Would be ideal for families with older kids (like us) or a couples' trip. The property was spotless and roomy. Cannot say enough about our experience!

Lovely hosts

Stan and Sandra were lovely and very accommodating hosts. We had a nice stay at their rental property and they were very generous in taking us to the grocery store and to obtain bus passes at the post office. They even gave us bus tickets and drove us to a restaurant our first night, as the post office was, by then, closed for purchasing bus passes. Their property is pretty remote from many of the attractions on the island, and we found this to be a little bit of a downfall. Taxis to and from the airport are pricey. Also, since we traveled late winter, we were really looking forward to using the pool, and the attached spa, but were dismayed to discover that they were not heated. Something that is probably beneficial for winter guests to know. The accommodations were clean, sufficient, and simple.

Owner's Response: Thanks for the review. It was our pleasure accommodating your family and assisting with transport to the grocery store, Post Office and restaurant. We understand your concern about the distance from the airport and the Taxi fare, however, we inform our potential guests of the Taxi fare before they 'book' the property. Regarding attractions, Crystal Caves and Historic St. Georges are at the airport end of the Island, 45-50 mins. away, however, the Dockyard Area (i.e. Americas Cup Races, mini-golf, water sports center, cruise ship & ferry terminal, mini-mall, 5 restaurants, etc. -8 min. drive), two beautiful beaches, the Famous South Shore Beaches, the main Lighthouse, the world-class Port Royal Golf Course are between 5 - 15 mins from the property. We do not advertise a 'Heated Pool/Jacuzzi'; in Bermuda, very few private pools are heated, and when asked, we inform our potential guests, however, we will ensure to inform all potential winter guests that our Pool is not heated. The best months for warm temperatures (75 - 87 degrees) are between May to October. It is usually colder (60 - 75 degrees) from November to March/April. Once again, thanks for the comments and suggestions.

My family had a wonderful week in Bermuda, and felt spoiled by our amazing hosts. Thank you for the kind, warm, helpful and loving welcome and care. We appreciated the quiet of the neighborhood, and the convenience to bus stops and groceries, and the helpful advice and assistance of our hosts. All of this helped make our explorations across Bermuda easy and fun. We are looking forward to returning to Bermuda sometime soon in the future!

This property had everything that we needed for a relaxing getaway. Stan and Sandra were very accommodating, arranging transportation to and from the airport, taking us to the grocery store as well as taking us to rent scooters. The two bedroom unit had plenty of space for the four of us. The property was peaceful, quiet and close to stores and public transportation. The owners truly care about their guests. Thank you Stan and Sandra for your hospitality.
