I cannot explain how beautiful this place is, you just have to see it for yourself. We travel in a group of 4, two couples and it was the perfect location for a a group of couples to travel together since the bedrooms are separated into two different houses (so to speak).
The house(s) are very well maintained and the landscaping is STUNNING! Laurie who greeted us was incredibly accommodating of our schedule and so helpful while we were there. We had absolutely no issues or complaints, nothing but positive feedback :)
If you are travelling to Dominical, this is THE PLACE to stay!
Thanks for everything!
My wife and I stayed 7 days there and it was fabulous. Every day was a new day with the wild life from the Capuchin monkeys every morning to the non stop sighting of Toucans. The home was simply beautiful. And loved having to forge a small stream to reach the home site. Also cannot forget Fernando and Evelyn who were always there if we needed something, two very nice people. Thanks again Zoe for sharing you beautiful home as it was one of our most memorable vacations.
This property couldn't have looked any more perfect and everyone was friendly we delt with.
The things I would say we're a little challenge was the drive to the property. It's all off road and can be steep so a larger suv would be recommended especially when it rains (every day). Also no land line so no way to keep in contact with property manager if your cell doesn't work. Otheir than that it was amazing and you couldn't have had better views!
We arrived at the house Thursday evening after a long day of travel. We had hired Evelyn to fix us dinner and it was delicious. The main house and the rooms were very comfortable and had beautiful views of the property. We enjoyed the relaxing comfort and views from the gazebo as well. The trails were great and we had fun exploring the property. We were not able though to find our way to the beach from any of the trails but we did enjoy the beautiful creek that flows through the property. I guess the only downside was with the four of us, the refrigerator ice maker was unable to keep up with the consumption. But we bought a couple bags of ice which eliminated that problem. Laura, Evelyn and Fernando all made our stay wonderful and were very responsive to any questions/problems. We enjoyed our horseback ride to the falls (which Laura booked for us) and our independent trip to visit the Baruca Village. We dined a several local restaurants as well as making meals at the main house. Overall it was a fabulous place and we all enjoyed our visit.
The perfect private getaway. Exceptionally clean. Modern appliances, electricity, bath, and plumbing. Surrounded by jungle and flowers. Beautiful architecturally designed villa with floor to ceiling windows. Exotic birds, monkeys, and wildlife live on property. Has a network of maintained walking trails. Enclosed on large property with small road leading to easy access to highway. Minutes drive from english speaking surf town with restaurants, bars, shopping, surf lessons, dive tours, and grocery store.
This place is Incredible. The villa with its private jungle is a dream. We spent several mornings walking the immaculately-maintained trails of the property, through the trees and along a beautiful river, spotting all sorts of exotic wildlife. We sat by the pool and took in the view of the ocean, and watched the sun set from the gazebo. Dominicalito is beautiful as well. Everyone was very sweet and patient with my "survival spanish" skills. My girlfriend and I played in the surf, hiked breathtaking waterfalls, had dinner and took in the view at Jolly Roger, and watched the sun set from the patio of Tortilla Flats (several times), all within a mile or two of the villa.
Read and Zoe, we can't thank you enough. You have a beautiful place, in an unbelievably beautiful area, thank you for inviting us to enjoy it.
