My wife and myself stayed at the apartment for more than one week together with our small daughter. The apartment has everything that a small family needs. The host Edoardo was very kind and helpful providing a baby chair as well as a baby crib as per our request. The surroundings are nice and rather quiet, seem quite safe as well. There is a little park with a kids playground in the vicinity.
The only minor drawback was the transportation to the centre which might take from 20 to 60 min depending on where you are going and daytime, and it is not quite convenient with a little baby. The closest point appeared to be Vatican due to a good train connection. The rest required at least one change from train to metro or a long trip by bus.
Thanks to Edoardo for the accommodation and great time in Rome!

Very nice, clean, warm, cozy, convenient studio apartment. It was a nice feeling nice to come home every evening. The description on the website was accurate, it looked exactly as on the pictures. The bed was comfortable, the kitchenette well supplied with all of the necessities, the eating area cozy, and the bathroom clean and fully functional. After coming home in the evening we turned the heat on, and the place got warm very quickly (February).
The actual building was nice and safe, with a concierge being on duty during the day. There was a small, but well stocked grocery store nearby, where we picked up ingredients for our evening meals. The owner, Eduardo was easily reachable by phone and text, very helpful and accommodating to our unusual arrival time (late Sunday night). Eduardo's mother gave us an evening tour of Rome by car, very touching (she didn't have to do it, but offered it anyway, a show of kindness). She also gave us an extra blanket (we prefer to sleep under separate covers).
Transportation was also convenient, we used the train from the Villa Bonelli station. The Vatican is 3 stops away, but you have to change trains once (1 stop to Trastevere station, then take another train 2 more stops to San Pietro). The trains come by around every 15 minutes during the day. For example when going to the papal audience on Wednesday, we left the apartment around 8:15, and were at the Vatican by 9. You can also combine the train with metro B at the Piramide/Ostiense station, 2 stops away. I took the bus only one time coming home, it was interesting but took much longer than the train. The Villa Bonelli station is also on the same line as the Fiumicino airport (line FL1). We arrived to Ciampino, it was a little more complicated and time consuming, but definitely doable.
All in all, we were very satisfied with the apartment, it helped to make our stay in Rome a nice and memorable experience.
"Cosy apartment located in a nice and calm neighborhood. The owners,a typical Italian family, are very nice people. We really had a great time in Rome."
"Wonderful!! My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay at this flat! The owner and his sister were very accommodating! The flat was very clean and had everything we needed, iron, towels, hair dryer, tv & dvd player and everything needed to cook for ourselves. Because we were traveling on a budget we were very happy that the grocery store was only a block away and the kitchen was well equipped to make fabulous italian meals! It is also lovely to walk to the cafe in the morning and share a cappuccino. It is true that the bus takes 30-45 minutes to reach the centre but the train is also very close. We figured out in our last days that you can take the train just a few stops and transfer to the metro line which takes you to the centre much faster. I would recommend this flat to anyone looking for an authentic Italian vacation!"
"The apartment was very comfortable and clean with all equipment you need (like hairdryer, iron, coffee maker, dish etc). The neighbourhood is also very nice and quiet. Busstop is very near and it takes about 30 min. to the city center. The owner is extremely helpful and very sympathetic and we enjoyed of the Rome by night tour with him!"
The area is safe and verdant, good connected to the historical centre of Rome with the bus 44 that it brings you to Venice Plaza and with the city train, 1st stop Trastevere 2ndstop Ostiense Piramide where is the MetroB
The Train line in Villa Bonelli also quickly brings you in the opposite direction to the Fiera di Roma and to the Airport Fiumicino/Leonardo Da Vinci
1Km from here you find Colli Portuensi area, where are a many cafes, supermarkets, banks, shops and place for aperitif.
