Nestled beneath a Spanish lime tree in a prime location, the Sunset Retreat can be found. This time-honored home with the appearance of a sea captain's landlocked sanctuary, awaits you. Whether it be vacation,business(hopefully not),or a jumping off point for relocation to our slice of happiness, this property will give you a feeling for the colorful and sweet nature of the Key West lifestyle as well as the local residents(Conchs by nickname).

After parking you car in your dedicated spot, it's time to start your journey down the brick path,beyond a locked gate, to your new haven. The Sunset Retreat boasts two bedrooms with baths en suite. Up a quaint spiral staircase, the master bedroom can be found with a second well-appointed bedroom located on the main floor. Each Bedroom has large closets,queen beds,25 inch TVs, and charming island decor. The fully-equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher and washer/dryer in an adjoining closet. The cozy living area has a queen pull-out couch and a forty inch flat screen tv. There is a patio located the rear with bbq and conversation space for chatting the night away. Outside of this property's stellar location, I would have to say I was intent on keeping affordability in mind so the average traveler or extended corporate guest could have a great spot to lay their head and have the opportunity for the experience that is Key West.

I came to Key West 9yrs ago to love what I do and love where I live. I restore these old homes and protect the history that they contain. It's not the worst thing to see palm trees out your window when you wake up in the morning.

Perfect Getaway! Walking distance to everything! Plus parking!

We rented this location for a month over the summer. It's a great spot tucked away on a quiet street. The neighbors are friendly, and I felt completely safe staying there with my son. You have your own parking space directly in front of the house. I drive a large SUV and had no issues with parking. The entrance is through the side gate, which you must have the key. The downstairs has a kitchen, sitting area, laundry and a nice sized bedroom with a full bath and large closet. Going upstairs you have another large bedroom with a large closet and full bath. You're walking distance to southernmost beach just a few blocks away. Everything in key west is pretty close so you can really walk everywhere! Its right off duval street, there's a great smoothie place across the street and a ton of great restaurants nearby! You also have your own private patio out back with a large grill to enjoy an evening at home. I had no issues with the unit so didn't need to reach out to the owner, but when I did contact preparing my trip, he responded in a flash! I definitely recommend this location. Why stay in a hotel when you can be in and out of your own private spot? It was affordable, and spacious for my family! We had a wonderful summer!

This property is fantastic. It's spacious, well designed, and in such a great location. There are so many restaurants nearby, Duval street couldn't be any closer, and the accommodations are perfect. The homeowner is so quick to reply, friendly, and helpful. The parking space is a huge bonus and quite a rarity in the city! I wouldn't change a single thing or offer any recommendations for improvements - My month long stay at this home was perfect. I'm so grateful! Thank you!

Perfect for a Couple's Getaway!

What a gem!

Located in a quiet part of town, but still close to Duval, this house is a perfect spot for a couple's retreat.

With two bedrooms located on different floors, with separate bathrooms, this is an ideal arrangement for two couples or a group of friends.

We enjoyed being walking distance from the busy part of town, but also being able to avoid the boisterous crowds.

The house was well equipped for anything you would need and everything was super clean and tidy.

We used the grill a couple times without any issues, and enjoyed dining outside on the patio set.

I would definitely recommend this property, and cannot wait to return! :)

Charming and close to Duvall

Charming and comfortable two bedroom with a full kitchen if you chose to cook. You'll be so close to many wonderful restaurants and bars on Duvall you probably won't want to cook! We loved the quiet neighborhood and always felt safe. We were close to Bahama Village, Hemingway Museum, The Lighthouse, Better Than Sex Desserts, and just blocks away from the southernmost point. The outdoor area had a nice clean BBQ and Seating area for four. A perfect place to drink morning coffee or have an evening cocktail. You would be an eight minute drive from the airport. Overall loved the home, neighborhood, and how close we were to all the action!

This great little spot is located on a quiet,one way street, just steps from the energy of Duval St. and a short walk to sun and surf of South Beach. The Key West Light House,Hemmingways House,Southern Most Point,Butterfly Conservatory,Gallery .District,Trolley stop and countless tasty restaurants are within 2 blocks of this great old home. A good nights sleep for recharging is a must and this is the spot for it,very quiet but right in the middle of the fun and culture
