Tranquility, silence and peace. You live in your own world. Neighbours are near, but behind the house and unseen. You look out onto fields, sandstone dry walls and forest. Recently renovated by world-class interior designers, the house is stunningly beautiful inside and out. Deliciously breezey front terrace with lounge couch and hammock. All the necessary amenities. Glorious beaches are 15 minutes away.

C’an Esperanza Toni is a beautifully renovated finca situated on La Mola, the eastern end of Formentera that rises dramatically to a plateau 200 meters above sea level. The charming town of El Pilar with its 3 fine restaurants and its two ‘hippy’ market days, which attract visitors from the entire island and Ibiza, is only a ten minute drive from the house.

Powered by solar energy, with its own cistern of purified rain water, C’an Esperanza Toni is in one of the most peaceful places on the island of Formentera. Even if ‘down below’ the island is crowded in C’an Esperanza Toni you are not going to notice it.

C’an Esperanza Toni is a beautifully renovated finca situated on La Mola, the eastern end of Formentera that rises dramatically to a plateau 200 meters above sea level. The charming town of El Pilar with its 3 fine restaurants and its two ‘hippy’ market days, which attract visitors from the entire island and Ibiza, is only a ten minute drive from the house.

Even if ‘down below’ the island is crowded in C’an Esperanza Toni you are not going to notice it.

Lovely small beaches and long languid, sandy spreads both with their own cafes and little, family-run restaurants are a picturesque 20-25 minute drive away. From the house you can walk in three directions through the pine forest to the cliffs, which overlook the sea and the vast Mediterranean horizon.

From the covered terrace where, even on the hottest days, a cool breeze is blowing, you look out on beautiful orange drywalls, a pine forest and, in the distance, the Mediterranean. A beautiful place to nap, read or visit with friends, the terrace is also wonderful for meals.

Waking in the morning at C’an Esperanza Toni—with the rising sun illuminating the dew-- you feel freshness and renewal. At night, in the silence of the island countryside, stars crowd the sky and the fragrance of thyme, rosemary and lavender fills the air.

A CAR IS NECESSARY.

In the town of San Francisco the mornings bustle with goods, services and fascinating visitors from all over Europe. Concerts--jazz and classical, fine outdoor movies, day trips (25 minutes) to the party island of Ibiza.
