About the property

EAGLE HOUSE is perched over the river Guadalete and located inside the Monumental TOwn of Arcos de la Frontera.

Inside you could enjoy a big seating room with open fire for winter and great views over the lake, the landscape and Sierra de Grazalema.

Besides you will find a huge kitchen prepare with all the apliances and a table with enough room for eight people.

Upstairs are two double bedrooms, one ensuit, a shower bathroom and the fifth bed. There is also a big terrace where you can take your breakfast enjoying the views.

Outside the house and also with great views you will find two other terraces prepare for lunch or dinner.

In one of it you can find a small pool to refresh on hot days.

If your group is longer, we have a lovely apartment excaved in a cave, a few meters from this house where it can be accommodate others two people.

Great house - fabulous location

It is difficult to expand on the many glowing reviews that this property has recieved to date, they are all accurate . This quality rental lived up to all our expectations and more. We were welcomed very warmly by the owner, Avelina who kindly provided some basic groceries which were much appreciated. The availability of the garage meant parking was stress free and is accessible without having to drive through the town centre which can be a little challenging.

Our stay coincided with the Feria de San Miguel which was an added bonus .

One cautionary note about Arcos - the steep calles are not for the fainthearted !

Wonderful house in Arcos

The property was as described, spotlessly clean & spacious.

The views are amazing & Avelina was always very helpful as was Antonio who met us . I would suggest visitors take the road signposted east of Arcos as although the road up to the garage is no entry you are allowed to drive up if you are going to the garage & this means you don't have to negotiate the very narrow streets to the property!

It was good to have basics in the kitchen ( bread, butter, coffee , etc ) .

Wonderful views!

We received a warm welcome from our host, Avelina. Even the photos on this website can't do justice to the views or the excellent quality of the accommodation which is spacious and well equipped. It is the perfect base either for relaxing or exploring the area. The house is situated inside the historic old town with easy access to a nearby supermarket. The garage belonging to the house is a safe place to park your car amongst the narrow streets. The old town is compact and interesting to explore, with many bars and restaurants. The nearby reservoir has an artificial beach, plenty of shade, a bar/cafe and canoe hire - a perfect place to cool off on a hot day. Cadiz, Jerez and Seville are all about an hours drive away. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Wonderful stay

A unique and interesting house with those wonderful views! It is well cared for and clean, and has all the necessary small things that cater to travelers. From four types of coffee pots to simple things like hooks where they should be, this is a rental that over time has really figured out just what people need to be comfortable. We enjoyed the town and visited several restaurants where the tapas was good and the beer cold! It is a good location for making day trips to Ronda, Jerez and Seville. Communication with Avelina was easy and we would definitely come back to stay again. Thank you Avelina!

Fabulous House

This is the rare house that exceeds all expectations and is far better than the pictures are able to convey. We loved everything about our stay, from the first moment of meeting Avelina, a warm and gracious host who provided so many details for our comfort. The house is located in the medieval village, so getting to it requires driving through some very narrow streets. It is also located toward the bottom of a steep hill, so it requires a steep walk up to the town. But that just meant that we could eat in the wonderful restaurants with less guilt because we were getting some exercise! And the views from the house were incredible. We came to explore all the Andalusian white towns, but we didn't want to leave the house because it is in such a beautiful location. Arcos was our favorite town, so it was a great choice for a place to stay for several days.

Spectacular View

This property has the most incredible views, with an eclectic, spacious interior. Definitely appropriate for two couples or a family. Arcos is a beautiful town-- be forewarned that the hills are incredible! Pop by The Bluebell for tapas from English chef, Tracey. Get lost on the tiny streets and come upon another fabulous view. Or, just sit on one the three terraces and look out over the Andalusian countryside. This house is magic! Thank you, Avelina, for always being available for questions, and attentive to our needs.
