About this property

Nestled in the heart of the Dordogne, Le Noyer is the perfect location for exploring this region which is famous for its cuisine. In close proximity to tourist sites such as Rocamadour, La Roque Gageac, Domme, Sarlat and Les Eyzies, there is plenty to see and do. For golfers, Souillac Country Club is a stone's throw away, for those interested in water sports, canoeing and paddle boarding are widely available along the Dordogne. This region is well known for its incredible show caves - the best of these include Gouffre de Padirac which is visited by boat and Font de Gaume which features the only polychromatic cave paintings still open to the public. There are plenty of chateaux and gardens to visit in this area. Jardins D'Eyrinac and Jardins de Marquessac are two of our favourites. You can also visit Les Milandes, the chateau formerly owned by Josephine Baker where all of her costumes are on display. Castlenaud is another excellent chateau to visit. Children will love the falconry displays at Les Milandes and at Rocher des Aigles in Rocamadour as well as the Foret de Singes, a reserve for barbary macaques. There is also a water park, Quercyland in Souillac - 11km from the house.

The house is located above the village with fantastic views over the countryside. It is very well equipped with everything you'll need for your holiday. There are two sun terraces, garden furniture, sun shades and a barbeque. The sitting room has a wood burning stove for cooler evenings.

Relaxing holiday

Location was beautiful, the house was well equipped and very cool, a place where we would certainly return to.

Lovely house in beautiful part of France

This was our second time in Le Noyer and we'd happily return. It's a spacious and comfortable house in a charming little village, with a well-equipped kitchen, though if the weather is as good as it usually is in summer, you'll spend most of your time out on the terrace in a deck chair. If the weather's bad, the sitting room is very cosy and comfortable, with a TV and DVD player. Communication with the owners was very easy and an excellent bottle of wine awaited us when we arrived. There are lots of great places to visit in the region, from Josephine Baker's chateau to the amazing cliff town of Rocamadour and many excellent places to eat (if you visit Sarlat, lunch in Le Presidial is a must).

Télévision inutilisable ( carte invalide). Barbecue extrêmement sale et rouillé donc inutilisable également. Sièges de jardin moisis et déchirés. Aspirateur hors service. Vaisselle et ustensiles de cuisine sales,obligé de tout laver avant utilisation. Vous en voulez encore ????

huis heel goed gelegen om de prachtige buurt te bezoeken

Het huis lag schitterend gelegen om veel te bezoeken zoals Sarlat ,Recomandour en veel meer. Mooie wandelingen met hulp toeristiesedienst . De foto van het huis wel genomen vele jaren terug ,toen de bomen kleiner waren en het huis nog nieuwer was.In het huis alles aanwezig lakens handdoeken ,wc papier ,huishoudpapier,wasmachine + veel produkten. Het huis zelf wat oubollig en zeker niet netjes gepoetst.Aan een opknap beurt toe !! Gelukkig niet veel binnen gezeten door het schitterend weer.Ons verblijf zelf was zalig genieten

maison sombre, sans isolation phonique

gardiens au top, réactifs et très sympas. Mais logement très sombre, aucune isolation phonique donc bruyant dés que quelqu'un bouge dans la maison, très poussiéreux, il a fallu passer un coup d'aspirateur au début du séjour, et ne rien poser sur les étagères dans les chambres
