Brambles Chine is part of the 40 acre Linstone Chine Holiday Village. Number 228 is situated on the unspoilt, picturesque West Wight coast, occupying a south facing, front line position on the site which provides a premium unobscured sea view across to the world famous Needles and views over farmland, towards Tennyson Down.
In front of the bungalow is a large grassed area leading to a safe bathing beach, only 3 minutes walk away. Further along the shore are a few souvenir shops, cafes, paddle boats and windsurf hire. From Colwell Bay to Totland bay there is a promenade walk to another beach, cafe and restaurant.
The bungalow is close to Yarmouth and Freshwater village where there is a good selection of shops, supermarkets, take-away meals, cafes and restaurants, plus a Leisure Centre and Swimming Pool.
Please note this property is clean and tidy but it has not been modernised as some have been on the site, this is reflected in the lower price, the site prices the chalets at £580 a week in the peak season.
There is an open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area from which can be seen views of the countryside and sea.
The kitchen is fitted with fridge, freezer, gas hob, electric oven and microwave. A gas combination boiler provides hot water and central heating if required. There is a colour T.V, DVD player and a small hifi unit. Site wireless Internet is available for £8.50 per week, (2017 rate) hourly and daily rates also available.
The bathroom is fully tiled with a washbasin, W.C, bath with shower over and a shaving point. Bedroom 1 has a double bed, bedroom 2 has pine bunk beds with space to pull out another single mattress situated under the bunk bed. In the lounge there is a 4' sofa bed. Bedding includes 2 double duvets, 3 single duvets,
blankets and pillows. Linen and duvet covers are not provided. These may be hired from the site office if required. The site office block houses a small shop, laundry room with 2 washing machines and 2 dryers (coin operated).
Places of interest in the area include Yarmouth Harbour and yachting Centre, the old town and castle, Alum Bay with its coloured sands and chairlift, the Needles Pleasure Park, Calbourne Mill and Chessell Pottery. From Freshwater Bay over Tennyson Down is perhaps the finest picturesque walk of all island walks. Afton Golf Club is nearby and Compton Bay, a long, unspoilt beach, popular for swimming and famous for its dinosaur fossils, is on the West coast road, a few miles south of Freshwater Bay.
Please note Cleaning is not included, it is let on a self cleaning basis, so it needs to be cleaned by the guest on departure.
