Our apartment is located in the beautiful town of Radovljica, just 6 km from Lake Bled. Radovljica is a great location; with an open air swimming pool, cinema, bowling alley and a stunning old town. There is a lovely sports park and children's playground: with a range of ice cream shops, cafes, pizzerias and delicious restaurants all within walking distance of the apartment.

The two bedroom apartment sleeps up to 5 people. The apartment comprises of a newly refurbished kitchen diner with sofa bed, a walk in shower, one double bedroom with king size bed and one twin bedroom. In addition, there is a snug with sofa and TV. Outside there is a spacious garden with a seating area.

Radovljica is an idyllic, beautiful and active location. It is idea for walkers, families and couples, along with those looking for adventure sports – rafting, cannoning, canoeing and a zip wire are all available at Tina Rafting, based in Radovljica. You can even book a panoramic flight from the small airfield nearby or sip coffee whilst watching the sky divers and gliders take off.

It is a great location for seeing all that Slovenia has to offer, within easy access to the motorway and only 10 minute drive from Lake Bled (Castle, Island, Vintgar Gorge). Brnik airport is a short 20-minute drive, Lake Bohinj, Kranjska Gora and Ljubljana are approx. 30-40 minutes. Postojna caves, some Slovenian spas and water parks, Klagenfurt (Austria), Tarvisio (Italy) are approx. 1 hour away and the Slovenian coast is around 1 ½ hours. For those without a car, there is a main bus station, next to the post office in Radovljica (within walking distance of the apartment) and Lesce train station is approx. 15 minutes’ walk away. Both these local bus and train stations offer great transport links.

About Helen Asher

We are an English couple who live in Slovenia with our young family. I teach in the local school. We fell in love with Slovenia when we first visited in the country in 2004 and bought a property here so we could live here full time. Over the years, friends have visited us in Slovenia and have returned many times. It was some of them who gave us the idea to create two separate apartments, therefore last September we began renovating. We have just completed the renovation (June 2016) and are pleased to finally advertise our specious two-bedroom apartment.

Excellent accommodation in a stunning area

A beautiful well-equipped, clean appartment, set in a lovely quiet area, but near to amenities.

It is situated in a lovely town, with plenty of good facilities, surrounded by stunning countryside. There are good transport links, by bus and rail, to other places and it is also easy to get around by hiring a car. The owners have also provided bicycles for you to enjoy the area, which is a bonus.

There is plenty of information on Slovenia and the immediate area available in the accommodation and the owners are very welcoming and always on hand for advice or additional information.

The appartment is wonderfully comfortable with an outside sitting area to enjoy the sunshine.

I thoroughly recommend staying here and will be returning.

very good holiday in an excellent apartment

The apartment is very clean,comfortable and all one could wish for. The location in Radovljica, 6 km from Lake Bled, is very quiet,but within easy walking distance to a lot of attractions including a swimming pool, ten pin bowling alley, supermarkets, cinema, the centre of the historical town which has numerous good restaurants and bars, also the bus and train stations. In other words an excellent location.

Helen and Paul made us very welcome and went out of their way to make our holiday as perfect as possible, advising us on the many attractions and places to go in Slovenia.

We would recommend this apartment to anyone and will be staying there again.
