Awesome view, peaceful and quiet!
Arriving at the old stone cottage we had a warm welcome by our host Lilian who also lives nearby. Lilian was very helpful and caring thoughout our holiday, giving lots of very good tips for places to see, restaurants and beaches. The cottage is very well eqipped, with stunning views both to the Kokkino Kastro and Karystos and bay down below. The cottage offers many terraces for each time of day and weather. The private garden around the house is exeptional! Getting to the cottage is perhaps not the easiest drive, but the views from up there are worth any of the steep slopes and we made it many times with our Fiat Panda. The cottage is a perfect home base for anyone loving quietness and wanting to explore the beautiful south of Evia island!

Super relaxant
Nous avons passes des vacances tres relaxantes avec nos deux jeunes garcons. les enfants ont dit que c etait le paradis parmi la vue idyllique et les etoiles. C' etait calme, avec une vue superbe vers Karystos le chateau et la lune pleine! Si vous aimez etre aupres de la nature, loin du bruit et la chaleur qui se concentre en bas a Karystos cest la maison ideale refaite avec beaucoup du gout en gardant le caractere traditional de la maison ancienne. Il fais toujours plus frais en haut et cest tres agreable. Lilian la proprietaire etait tres aimable discrete et elle nous a donne de bons conseils. Merci pour tout on a passe des tres Belles vacances.

wunderbares Haus in phantastischer Umgebung
Es war eine wundervolle Woche auf der vergessenen Insel Euböa! Schon im Vorfeld kam ein sehr angenehmer Kontakt mit Vermieterin per E-Mail zustande. Die geschmackvolle, sehr wohnlich gemütliche Atmosphäre des Hauses hat unsere Erwartungen weit übertroffen! Dazu hat es eine funktionierende Heizung und jederzeit ausreichend Warmwasser (für März sehr geeignet) sowie Steppbetten als Zudecke! Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt, der Garten schon allein ein Kleinod. Platz für 6 Personen ist ausreichend, das Wohnzimmer und die Terassen als auch die Betten laden zum relaxen und ausruhen ein, am großen Küchentisch finden alle Platz. Die Empfehlungen der freundlichen Vermieter sind hilfreich und unaufdringlich. Sogar vom Haus aus sind mehrere fußläufige (Wander)Touren möglich, ansonsten geht ohne Auto nichts, da der Ort abgelegen ist (ohne Busanbindung)., das betrifft auch den Weg zum Strand. Auch Tavernen, Cafes und Einkauf in Karystos ist mit Auto besser zu erreichen, zu Fuß braucht man eine knappe Stunde. Literatur ist knapp, Wandertouren sind am besten über Interneteinträge anzulesen. Jederzeit wieder! unbedingte Empfehlung! Wandern: Dimosari-Schlucht, Ochi-Berge, Rund um die Festung und Nachbarorte, Potami Beach und Schlucht; geschrieben von Matthias Berger / Deutschland

La Grèce authentique
Nous avons passé trois semaines très agréables et reposantes dans cette maison. L'île d'Eubée se révèle être une île authentique et très peu fréquentée par les touristes (Certes Karystos n'a pas le charme d' Oia mais vous pouvez aller déjeuner et dîner au restaurant tous les jours). Lilian, la propriétaire, est une personne accueillante et extrêmement serviable qui fera tout pour faire découvrir tous les trésors de cette île. Pour nous, le plaisir de découvrir des plages désertes aux eaux turquoises différentes chaque jour, le plaisir des oursinades et des baignades jusqu'à la tombée de la nuit, des repas gastronomiques (goûter absolument au mouton au jus de citron et aux grillades !! ) dans les tavernes environnantes. Elle pourra même vous organiser au "pied levé" un petit voyage dans les magnifiques îles des Sporades (Alonissos, superbe !)....Thank you again Lilian. You have been so helpful ! ;-)
