Centrally located in a quiet street approximately 180yards from Kennington Tube station ( which has quick and direct lines to the South bank, West End and City) a large and well appointed studio flat.

Laid out to high standards and with its own front door. The accommodation comprises of an entrance vestibule leading to the bay fronted studio room furnished with a comfortable double bed, and sofa, television and period features. A hall with storage and hanging space leads through to a bright and airy eat-in kitchen fitted with cooker, hob, fridge-freezer and dishwasher. A modern shower room and further store with washing machine.

Decorated in neutral colours with a mixture of antique and modern furniture.

A perfect base for either a business or pleasure trip.

A Wonderful Stay in Kennington

We stayed in this lovely little flat for 5 nights in September, 2007, and had an excellent time. Simon, the owner of the flat, was very friendly and helpful, and a pleasure to chat with. The studio itself is delightfully decorated and cozy, with a comfy queen sized bed and couch for lounging. The kitchen is bright and cheerful, and is very well stocked with utensils to make cooking meals very easy. The bathroom is a little smaller than expected, but it was all we really needed for our stay.

The walk to the Kennington Tube Station is a breeze, and takes less than 2 minutes to get there. We were in Central London for sightseeing in less than 15 minutes altogether, so the location of Kennington is fantastic!

We walked with ease to the Tesco nearby for groceries, as it was not even a 10 minute walk, and there are numerous restaurants and pubs in the area, many of which Simon was able to recommend to us.

All in All, we had a wonderful stay, and we will definately return for another stay sometime soon!

Great stay at Simon's!

We really enjoyed our recent stay at Simon's. The flat was immaculate, very clean and more spacious than the pictures make out! Simon was very accommodating, the flat was stocked with tons of information about London and the surrounding area. The location of the flat was excellent, quiet and safe yet very close to the Kennington tube station from where we could travel to many popular sights in minutes. There is a Tesco nearby where we bought groceries for our stay. The White Bear Pub is just around the corner and had excellent food and service! I would reccommend Simon's rental to a single person or couple wanting to explore London. Thank you Simon!

We stayed at Simon's flat for nine nights in late November/early December and were very pleased with our experience. Upon arriving we were happy to find that not only was the flat as pictured, but that it looked even nicer than we expected. As has been mentioned in other reviews, the apartment is exceptionally clean, well equipped, centrally located and reasonably priced. The flooring, shower, tv and appliances are all quite new and of a good quality. The kitchen has been remodeled recently and is attractive and well designed for its small space.After a day of touring the wonderful sites of London it was lovely to take a short tube ride and a quick walk along a safe, quiet street to our peaceful, comfortable home away from home. We would often stop at the handy Tesco near the Kennington Station to pick up a few groceries or a beer and a bag of crisps to end our evening. Simon was a pleasure to deal with and we were so satisfied with this property that we hope to return soon for a more extended stay.

Wonderful stay at Simon's October 13 - 16, 2016

My wife and I had a fantastic stay at Simon's flat. The apartment was even better than the preview pictures. A great location, so close to the tube. Simon greeted us and explained every thing we needed to start our London stay. Pubs, tube stops, a little history of the neighborhood. We would recommend this place to anyone who wants great accommodations, access to public transportation, and a courteous host. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Simon. Joe and Jill M. Very comfortable and quiet

Perfect flat, perfectly located

We stayed for five nights at Simon's flat and had a wonderful time. Everything in the flat was as described or pictured except two comfy armchairs rather than a couch. The bed was so comfortable, we slept like babies. The flat was extremely quiet, just the odd squeaky floorboard from above where Simon lives, but we ourselves live in a home where the floorboards squeak a bit! Simon was there to greet us and explain everything about the flat and the area, even recommendations for pubs and grocery stores nearby - and the neighbourhood is great! Lots of dining/pub options and groceries within a few minutes' walk. The only thing we could not figure out was the dishwasher so we just did the few breakfast dishes each morning by hand - no biggie! So handy to have a washing machine right in the flat - very much appreciated. The place was cozy and warm. It is so close to the Kennington tube station that got us to the centre in no time at all, so easy! The flat has a security system which made us feel very secure, but the neighbourhood was nice; at no time of the day or night did we feel unsafe. If we ever visit London again, we would definitely book here again! Thanks again Simon for a great stay!

Kennington lies just south of the Thames and only one and a half miles from the geographical centre of London.

Close to the tourist spots of the South Bank, Borough Market , City and West End. Great transport links with Tube, Bus and Rail. Minutes away is the delightful Clever Square with its traditional English pub which provides an excellent spot to sit on a summers evening and relax. Good local restaurants....as well as the swanky central ones.
