Magnificent penthouse with 3 large terraces with magnificent sea view. Enjoy the sun and relax in your own swimming pool. Wake up in the morning in your master bed with sun rises over the coast. Meals on the terrace with 180 degrees sea view to the Mediterranean - marina - mountains and the city off Almunécar. The weather is excellent all year round. Average in winter 18C and 32C in summer. More than +300 days with sunshine. It is fully fitted with air con. and heating. Free fast wireles fiber internet . 43 " Flat screen TV - English -German- Swedish - Norwegain - Danish- German and Spanish Canals. Radio / CD . You can park your car just outside the front door and take the lift direct to the penthouse. There is only 10 minutes walking distance to the beach , marina and excellent restaurants.

Round the area of Maria Del Este you can practice nearly all kind of water sports activity. Only 10 minutes drive from the penthouse is the beautiful city off Almmunécar with its old part of Almunécar. The area around the penthouse is a bit hilly.

1½ hours drive and you are in the famous skiing area of Sierra Neva

Really nice holiday

I vistied the Marina del este area for the first time this autum with my girlfriend. We rented the apartment from the owner without any problem. Good service and no problems what so ever.

The area is really nice, and the penthouse was a treat. Everything we needed for a lovely holiday. The view was stunning and we found it hard to belive, what a place.

We did try the private pool on the top terresse a bit cold, but should be nice when the weather get warm.

We are definitely comming back.

What beautiful accommodation. With 3 terraces you will find sunshine from dawn to dust. The view is breath-taking, all rooms are of generous proportions, clean and uncluttered. Plenty of parking in front of the building. Watch out for traffic wardens in town outside the bakery! Staff very helpful and only a phone call away. Just go, you will love it.

Beautiful views, spacious and well equipped

A great holiday apartment! 2 good bathrooms, large living / dining room; well planned kitchen and good sized bedrooms. Yes, its a little dated and not luxury but its excellent for a holiday rental and we would re book. The plunge pool is good, with stunning views and the main terrace outside the living area is vast! The views are spectacular. We had a small problem, but the owner and local rep tried their best to resolve quickly with minimal disruption. We were on holiday with our 3 boys - 9, 7 and 5 and it worked really well - the communal pool about 5 mins away is great for them. Would not be great for the very young though and the plunge pool, accessed by a narrow metal spiral staircase, not perfect for the very old or infirm. You do need a car, not much on your doorstep. Beaches at least a 20 min walk away. But book, its great!

Great escape!

We stayed one week in Marina del este in the penthouse appartment. What a place! The location is just mindblowing. The view was breathtaking and the appartment it self was just what we were looking for. Everything was in great condition and it had all the nessesary equipment. I would for sure come back again, and can easy give my recommendation to any one looking for a great place to spend their holiday.

Great Penthouse apartment.

WE ( 4 persons 40-60 years ) is wery satisfied with your penthouse apartment.

What a view!! Three great terracies, and nice to have a pool with this view. Small but great.

Everything ok, and a great town Almunecar with a big spanish innertown.

This was even better than the pictures.

We will sure be back. B & H Thanks.

exellant views location good but expensive

Luxurious it is not we dont call Ikea furniture luxurious nor comfortable and the €300 deposit seems a joke,the location is exellant but do not eat in the marina del este the locals seem to laugh at the prices they charge down there go to La Bamba in La Herradura opposite the up turned boat on the beach and talk to Jo the owner he knows the local area and also the food at his bar( prices is good to) is exellant worth a visit, back to the apartment the views are awesome of the meditereanen sea, the apt is very clean but also seems on the expensive side to what you get for your money and to bring your own sky card now that is cheeky a wellcome pack would be really helpfull to customers that arrive late on sat the super markets are closed on a sunday so a wellcome pack would be a nice bonus, definately not suitable to young kids as the height of the property could be a big negative to parents with children, also do not use the local Taxi service they rip you off see Jo in La Bamba first he was a good contact to have, would we go back probably not because the night life in this area is well like a ghost village, definately would go back to La Herradura area but as a 1 off yes go and have a good time we did.

La Herradura is a friendly Spanish village that is popular with predominantly Spanish holiday makers. It has many excellent restaurants and cafes on the beach. You can sit and have leisurely lunches over several hours overlooking the sea. La Herradura (meaning 'The Horseshoe'), is a beautiful bay between the picturesque headlands of 'Cerro Gordo' and 'Punta de la Mona'. The vegetation and countryside inland from the coast is fascinating and this is an area where you don't have to travel far to see contrasts in scenery and natural beauty. A bus service is available for those who prefer to do without a car and the town of Almunecar, 10 minutes to the east, is well worth a visit offering a larger range of shops, an open air market on Fridays, and a 'flea-market once a month.
