About Jim and Linda Wright

We are both self employed and only have time to use our cabin a few weeks each year. We live and work in Fort Collins and are only one hour away from Estes

Jim and Linda Wright purchased this house in 2002

Why Jim and Linda Wright chose Rocky Mountain National Park

Our home is well decorated with mountain and indian art work. There are many activities in Estes Park including great restaurants. The cool summer evening allows one to sleep without air conditioning. This property is close to downtown, Rock Mountain National Park, Lake Estes and the golf courses. You will not be disappointed with our backyard setting.

What makes this house unique

This is a quiet neighborhood with really friendly people. Large lots are inviting to wildlife traveling through our neighborhood.

Thanks Jim and Linda for sharing your cabin. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed your many interesting decorations. The hot tub is well maintained and an excellent addition to this property.

Cozy; charming home close to many attractions.

  • 5 of 5

Jim & Linda were so easy to work with before our stay answered all our questions about weather and road conditions. The house was cozy and had everything we needed for a quick family vacation with our CSU student. Plenty of amenities and very dog friendly. The spa, fireplace, well appointed kitchen, extra blankets and pillows, and dog essentials put this place over the top for us. We will be back!

Comfortable with all the essentials

  • 5 of 5

We had a nice stay here. Very convenient location. Not within walking distance of the main street of town if that's what you're looking for, but it's a short 5-minute drive to the main drag, a dog park, and grocery store, and it's located in a very pretty and quiet neighborhood. Four adults, one kid, and one dog fit comfortably. As others have mentioned, there's not much room to unpack, which wasn't a big deal for us. We hung a few things and kept the rest in suitcases. Lots of conveniences, including a well stocked kitchen (not with food, but with all appliances you need), lots of extra towels for hot tubbing, extra blankets, giant tv with Netflix/DISH/DVDs, washer/dryer, and a nice fenced backyard for our dog. There are two stools and a bar for eating/sitting; otherwise there's a comfy, plumpy couch and recliners with tv trays. Plus lots of outdoor furniture, which was great for warm fall days and watching elk and deer. We didn't spend a ton of time in the home because we were out and about a lot, but the time we did spend there was comfortable and pleasant. There is a lot of decor and family photos, so I imagine the owners use this house often. It's definitely well maintained and very clean. Easy to communicate with them as well, and I always received prompt, kind responses. Overall, a very nice stay. Would recommend it.
