Stump Pass Beach State Park
At the southwest corner of Charlotte County, there is a mile of beach where seashells and shark teeth wash up, and anglers fish the surf for prize catches. Visitors can enjoy an excellent view of the Gulf of Mexico, as well as a stretch of undeveloped Florida coastline. Visitors come to this secluded beach to enjoy the year-round swimming and sunbathing; shelling is best during the winter months. A hiking trail passes through five distinct natural communities that provide homes for many species of wildlife; covered picnic tables are located along the trail. While at the park, visitors might see West Indian manatees, gopher tortoises, snowy egrets, least terns, and magnificent frigate birds. Ranger-led nature hikes are available in the winter.
This pristine beach offers white sand, sparkling blue waters and spectacular sunset views year round. This beach offers many amenities including a 900 foot boardwalk with three covered lookouts, restroom facilities, showers, water stations, volleyball court, basketball courts, horseshoe pits, playground area, food vendors available on site, four small shelters with picnic table and grill, and three large pavilions, all of which contain picnic tables and charcoal grills. The pavilions are available to rent for birthday parties, family reunions, corporate parties, large picnics, and other special events
Located on Gasparilla Island off the Gulf Coast, northwest of Fort Myers, Boca Grande is an affluent residential community recognized for excellent fishing. Among its many charms is the Gasparilla Inn & Club, a hidden gem. Built in 1911 but maintained through renovations and updates, this luxurious resort preserves its old Florida charm. Also, from Boca Grande, if you have your own boat or can befriend someone who does, you're within a short hop of Cayo Costa, a relaxed barrier island destination that moves at its own pace. With great fishing, oak-palm hammocks, mangrove swamps and miles of beautiful beaches, Cayo Costa retains its natural wilderness and sense of remoteness because – yes – you can get there only by boat

Very Nice House
We had a nice relaxing vacation. The home is lovely and was really clean when we walked in. I like the way it was set up with the family room and living room, the master bedroom was on one side and the other two bedrooms were on the opposite side. Tucked away on a quiet street which was nice. Tom did supply all the linens and towels. There were supply of tp, hand soap but we bought our own not knowing what was there. We bought our own laundry detergent, can't expect that to be supplied. The kitchen was supplied with everything you need for cooking, the coffee pot is a regular mr coffee so you have to buy reg coffee. There was also a grill. We mainly used that a few times during the week. The pool was awesome the kids really enjoyed that. Oh and there is a bathroom in the lanai that works out very well. We did see a gator one day in the canal. We gave my parents the master bedroom and said the bed was very comfortable. I will say I would like to see the other two bedrooms with more comfortable beds. It was a little rough. I just said to myself it's temporary. Would like to see at least 2 newer full beds in the two bedrooms. Would have been nice if there were more tv's, there was a tv in the master bedroom and one in the family room. Not everyone likes to watch the same thing on tv. If there was one in the lanai that would have been great because my husband and myself pretty much lived out there and the rest of the family was inside. Close to beaches and restaurants. Just keep in mind you are in Florida and everyone goes to bed early. So most of the restaurants close down at 10 pm. Tom leaves a book on the table on places to see, restaurants etc. Lots of good info. Other then that I would highly recommend staying at Sunset Paradise, the owner Tom was very responsive with me with all my questions and owns a beautiful house. Thank you Tom for sharing your home.
A great place for families with children!
As grandparents, we enjoy the great Florida sun with our children and grandchildren and this place afforded a beautiful location, with a beautiful pool and lanai and inside, more space than we could use.
Very clean and accessible. we had a wonderful stay!
Very clean quiet neighborhood. Kids also were able to see an alligator in the canal which they thought was cool. Very close to beaches
The sunsets are really even more beautiful in person!
Was a beautiful place to share 40 years of memories with my hubby. Really enjoyable to swim and look out over the beautiful canal. Thanks for the champagne and the memories!
Spacious, and comfortable home.
It has everything you might need. A large kitchen, living area, and comfortable bedrooms. Pool is clean, and the barbecue was exactly what we needed after a day spent at the beach. No noise, quiet neighborhood, perfect for a getaway. If you have any questions, or concerns for the owner, he's very reachable, and responds quickly.
Great house, pool area and great viewing the sunsets on the water!
Tom is a great owner and on top of anything you may need!..House is nice and spacious and has everything you could wish for. We Loved the location!..6 miles from shoping, a 10 min drive to beaches of Boca Grande! Makes you feel like your on a small island somewhere!..Also recommend Siesta Key Beach..A nice drive but all highway miles!..Nice little Tiki Bar there!!..And Englewood beach has a nice little Tiki Bar that used to be called Flounders!..Great place for live music, they have games in the sand and great staff!
