Wonderful Beaches, Restaurants, Golf and Shopping just a few miles away

Stump Pass Beach State Park

At the southwest corner of Charlotte County, there is a mile of beach where seashells and shark teeth wash up, and anglers fish the surf for prize catches. Visitors can enjoy an excellent view of the Gulf of Mexico, as well as a stretch of undeveloped Florida coastline. Visitors come to this secluded beach to enjoy the year-round swimming and sunbathing; shelling is best during the winter months. A hiking trail passes through five distinct natural communities that provide homes for many species of wildlife; covered picnic tables are located along the trail. While at the park, visitors might see West Indian manatees, gopher tortoises, snowy egrets, least terns, and magnificent frigate birds. Ranger-led nature hikes are available in the winter.

Englewood Beach

This pristine beach offers white sand, sparkling blue waters and spectacular sunset views year round. This beach offers many amenities including a 900 foot boardwalk with three covered lookouts, restroom facilities, showers, water stations, volleyball court, basketball courts, horseshoe pits, playground area, food vendors available on site, four small shelters with picnic table and grill, and three large pavilions, all of which contain picnic tables and charcoal grills. The pavilions are available to rent for birthday parties, family reunions, corporate parties, large picnics, and other special events

Boca Grande

Located on Gasparilla Island off the Gulf Coast, northwest of Fort Myers, Boca Grande is an affluent residential community recognized for excellent fishing. Among its many charms is the Gasparilla Inn & Club, a hidden gem. Built in 1911 but maintained through renovations and updates, this luxurious resort preserves its old Florida charm. Also, from Boca Grande, if you have your own boat or can befriend someone who does, you're within a short hop of Cayo Costa, a relaxed barrier island destination that moves at its own pace. With great fishing, oak-palm hammocks, mangrove swamps and miles of beautiful beaches, Cayo Costa retains its natural wilderness and sense of remoteness because – yes – you can get there only by boat

Rotunda Golf and Country Club

99 Premier Holes on The Cape Haze Peninsula

Imagine a place with rolling greens, lush fairways, cool breezes, and outstanding customer service. Rotonda Golf & Country Club is that place. This hidden jewel is on the West Coast of Florida and is just minutes from sandy beaches and some of the best fishing in the world. Oh, and did I mention GOLF?

Rotonda now offers 99 Holes to choose from that challenge all skill levels. Rotonda has been awarded a 'Beginner Friendly Certification' from the National Golf Course Owners Association as well as the Charlotte Sun Herald's Reader's choice award for being the best course in Charlotte County.

Come on out and give us a visit. The weather is great. The courses are great. All in your own backyard. That's exactly how Rotonda Golf & Country Club's five courses were planned. The Hills. Long Marsh. The Palms. The Links and now Pinemoor. Five emeralds in a spectacular setting bathed by gulf breezes. Challenging, well maintained fairways that provide a new golfing experience with every round.

Very nice home. Loved the layout.

  • 5 of 5

We had an excellent experience regarding our stay. Loved the home and layout of it. Loved the pool and lanai area. Location and neighborhood was very nice but a little ways off the beaten path, which meant it was quiet and peaceful. Just a few minor suggestions; the laundry detergent was empty so we had to buy some, just about ran out of TP so we bought more and there were no beach towels.

Very enjoyable and relaxing!!!

  • 5 of 5

We rented this beautiful home and was not disappointed. Unfortunately we had a couple of mechanical issues the first day and I have to say that the owner was on top of things immediately. He kept in close contact with us and had a repairman in touch with us within the hour.

We so enjoyed the beautiful pool and loved our morning coffe watching boats on the canal that is right outside the pool entrance.

This location was close to beautiful white sand beaches and several wonderful restaurants.

This was such a nice quiet neighborhood and we would definitely rent this home in the future.

This home is beautiful, spacious, and more than comfortable for a family vacation!

  • 4 of 5

We truely enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and comfortable home! The master bedroom is private and situated far enough away from the other bedrooms for peace and quiet. There are plenty of sitting areas for families or friends to stay together or have private spaces. The kitchen was set up for cooking and we made several meals in the 2 weeks we were there! The 2 tvs were a bit tempermental and my husband had to call verizon to get them going.

We thoroughly enjoyed the lanai and pool. The surrounding canal was beautiful! We ate all meals ou there, swam, and enjoyed the sun daily. Having a laundry area wad also a bonus!

We loved this home! The only drawback was that it was quite secluded, taking clise to a half hour to get to the nearest stores, restaurants, and sites. We did quite a bit of traveling and exploring, usually requiring a 1-2 hour trip. All in all, we loved coming back to the beautiful home at the end of the day!!!

Wallington New Jersey

Perfect Vacation Getaway.

  • 5 of 5

I just got back from my Wonderful vacation , 2 weeks at the Sunset Paradise with my wife and a close friend who had visited for the 1st week of my stay. Tom your place is beautiful , everything you could think of your place has. The pool is perfect anytime of the day, Barbeque, large lounge chair to read a book or table and chairs for eating outside or just relaxing under protection from any bugs that may be outside, everything just a few steps away including a bathroom with air conditioning of course. The inside has all cathedral ceilings with tiled floors and a large bathroom adjoining the master bedroom , plus 2 gest bedrooms with another nice bathroom , all with central air including a large laundry room including a beautiful kitchen, ice maker in the large fridge. There is a movie collection for your enjoyment or you can rent movies of your choice at the nearby Publix at the Red Box as you exit, Publix is maybe 15 minutes away. There is a beautiful view of the deep water canal from the pool or the sliding glass windows which wrap around from the living room all the way to the master bedroom , lovely sunrise or sunset. The beaches are maybe at the most 20 minutes away but well worth the short ride , white sands warm water and very little in the way of waves or strong currents . The entire area where the house is located is quite and laid back , if you see a neighbor they will wave to you , everyone we met was very nice , there is a mall area with many restaurants and stores within a short drive , we had avoided cooking all the time so Denny's was a good choice for breakfast it all depends what you prefer. If your into fishing I would suggest the Boca Grande Pier before the toll bridge , a little walk but if you fish the outgoing tide using frozen or live baitfish in the middle of the pier you will very busy , also you may see a few dolphin as you fish or bring your own cast net for live bait right under the pier. What can say, we had a wonderful time and I hope to return in the near future , or be lucky enough to buy my own property in this area , there are many empty lots for sale in the general area but as they widen the main road its only a matter of time before this hidden gem in South West Florida is discovered by all , not to worry everything is so spaced out that things will never change , you will always feel like you are off the beaten path. Tom it was a pleasure for me and my wife to meet you. Thank You Very Much. Robert & Maria.

Great time!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I rented this house for the month of February and had several friends and our son and his family visit while we were there. Everybody loved the house. It was spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable. The master bedroom is very large with a gigantic bathroom and a very large walk-in shower. The most enjoyable part of our stay was the beautiful pool area. We had great weather and were able to open up all the sliding doors that surround the crystal-clear pool, making that area seem an integral part of the house. Our little grandsons, in particular, enjoyed the pool, and they loved fishing in the waterway behind the house. This house is in an area with which we were not familiar, but we found that we liked it better. We discovered new places, such as Manasota Key and Boca Grande, and new restaurants. Tom was very pleasant to deal with and responsive to our needs. We had a great time and hated to leave!

enjoyed the pool, and they loved fishing along the waterway behind the house. Although the area in which this house is located was unfamiliar to us, we found that we liked it better than where we had stayed before because we discovered new places, such as Manasota Key and Boca Grande, and new restaurants. Tom was very responsive to our needs, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hated to leave!

The peaceful surroundings allow for complete relaxation and rejuvenation. Everything you could want is within driving distance but the most important stuff is available right at the house. The fishing out back was fun! The owners were extremely helpful and made our stay perfect!
