Great apartment for a family and very well located

The apartment was clean, tidy and well looked after with everything we needed for our stay. The master bedroom is suited for two adults with an in built wardrobe for storage. The kitchen has a two ring hob, combined oven / microwave and a dishwasher which was adequate for simple meals. The mezzanine has a sloping ceiling which our children liked as it it felt like their den. The bathroom was clean and equipped with a good shower.

The location is perfect for the three valleys. The Plattieres ski lift is right outside giving easy access to Val Thoren. Merbel itself is a green run down to the centre. Below the apartment are bars, ski hire and small convenience store and we were never disturbed by any noise.

This is a comfortable apartment with booking arrangements made simple via the English speaking owner. Definitely recommend this apartment as we are likely to go back next year.

Highly recomended.

A nice clean cosy apartment and decorated to a good standard. The front door to the apartment is directly opposite the lift to the ski lockers so literaly step out your front door into the lift and at the bottom pick up your ski's, step out the door from the ski locker and clip them on, very convenient especially for children. Also the building in which the apartment is situated has a good ski hire shop at the base of it as well as restarants/pizza takeaway and there is a small supermarket not 2 minutes walk.It is 200m at the most from the centre of Mottaret and 50m to the nearest ski lift. Laurent the owner is extremely helpful and speakes good english so booking was very smooth and easy.Highly recomended for comfort and one of the easiest access to the slopes I have experienced.

Excellent appartement

Un appartement vraiment très agréable, très bien agencé, chaleureux et l espace est bien optimisé, et les rangements suffisants. La chambre est très agréable, la partie duplex permet vraiment une espace d intimité très appréciable. Et les proprio accessibles et très sympas. Parfait. Nous reviendrons avec bcp de plaisir.

Perfect Location

We have stayed here two years in a row and are likely to return. The apartment is clean, tidy and will decorated. My two children love their own area upstairs with their own toilet. The kitchen area is small but with a little planning all meals can be prepared easily. The ski locker is situated on the ground floor and the lift gives direct access to the front door of the apartment. The parking is covered but it is still open to the cold so make sure your car is prepared. We have not experienced any problems but we always make sure the car is serviced before travelling down.

The view from the living room window is perfect and the location is the best thing about this apartment. It is situated near the shops and bars but without any noise from below. The main area for Motterat is just outside with access to all lifts for Val Thorens, Meribel, La Tania and Courchevel. This is why we love this so much. The local bars and restaurants are friendly, speak English and are always willing to be patient when I try speaking French. Email is the best way to correspond with the owner and he speaks English if required.

We will be returning here for another great holiday.

Très bon séjour

Petit appartement bien aménagé et très bien situé. Balcon ensoleillé en après-midi (agréable après une journée sportive de ski de printemps). Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.
