A few yards from Clapham Common, the apartment has very good facilities with buses and metro (Northern line from Clapham Common), with frequent bus services towards Battersea, King’s Road and Chelsea (bus 345), Sloane Square, Knightsbridge, Hyde Park and the West End (bus 137) , House of Parliament and Trafalgar Square (bus 87), Waterloo Railway Station (bus 77) and Portobello market (bus 452) ! Located in a Victorian building in a residential area, the apartment has a very nice and quiet garden on its north-eastern side where the bedrooms are orientated, for a very comfortable night sleep. The interiors, well matched with old furniture and warm coloured roman blind fabrics, welcome every guest in a friendly and relaxing atmosphere.

"We had a great time in this friendly and warm apartment, we really felt at home. Beautifully furnished with real paintings and some wonderful antique cupboards. Kitchen small but complete and functional, we could easily make our own coffee, tea and complete meals. Sleeping very well: quiet street and large gardens behind the houses, sleeping rooms at the backside of the house, beds are good. Excellent Indian restaurant at one one corner of the street, convenient supermarket 7-23 on the other. Busstops for 5 different lines are really very near and tube station Clapham Common 10 minutes walking via park; you can reach the very centre within 15-30 minutes depending on which way you travel, we have been discovering very many new aspects of this amazing city. Last but not least this flexible and very friendly reception by mrs Marietta, everything was just so fine. I recommend this flat to everybody!"

my partner and i enjoyed staying in this apartment. The location was ideal for night strolls to many local pubs and restaurants. We ate out most nights and also had the added bonus of having tesco's on the corner. The interior was clean with fresh flowers when we arrived. and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you may need. everything was in working order. no complaints at all.

La casa la encontramos en perfectas condiciones, limpia y con todas las comodidades para pasar una semana y sentirte como en casa. Marietta, la señora que atiende a los huéspedes está atenta desde que aterrizas, haciendo que tu llegada a la casa sea sin ningún sobresalto. Ropa de cama, toallas etc, limpia y con repuestos, calefaccion, wifi, cocina completa con todo lo necesario. En cuanto a la situación en el segundo cinturón al sur de Londres y a unos 20 minutos en bus del centro. Las lineas 77, 87 y 452 tenian una parada a escasos 100 metros de la casa. Un supermercado al lado de la parada suficiente para no echar nada en falta durante la estancia. Muy recomendable para una familia con niños (2 habitaciones con una cama grande para 2 personas cada una) y un sofà cama, que no utilizamos. Para llegar al apartamento hay que subir un tramo de escaleras muy cómodo. En un barrio tranquilo y una calle con esas casas de dos plantas tan típicas. A los vecinos de arriba ni los vimos, ni los escuchamos. En fin, para nosotros y nuestras hijas, fue perfecto. Muy recomendable como lugar de descanso para visitar la ciudad.
Extremely frequent services connect the apartment with Gatwick Airport, arriving and departing from British Rail at Clapham Junction, every half hour. Connections with Stanstead Airport are easy by tube, from Vauxhall to Tottenham Hale, then by train to the airport and reverse.

The area offer plenty of restaurants, expecially walking up to Lavender Hill. I recommend the Indian restaurant Cafè Zia, just on the corner of Victoria Rise, while if you go for a Thai you can book at Nancy Lam, on Lavender Hill. However you have many different choices, walking in the direction of Clapham Junction. If you want to go up to the common, you can stop and try the specialities of the Clapham Tandoori. For everyday food shopping you can experiment the freshness of the local shop Sainsubury’s Local (200 mt. from the apartment), but if you need a weekly shopping you can visit the main Sainsbury’s supermarket at Vauxhall, in a few bus stops
