We are two sisters with a great love of nature and spending time together with family and friends. This is our way to accomplish both goals and hope you will enjoy the serenity we have.
Terri Ramsey purchased this house in 2010
This is not just a rental but our personal cabin which we have opened for others to enjoy. The original owner lovingly designed and built the home as his retirement destination before love took him to Hungary to be with his wife. You will feel all of the special touches that make this a special place. My sister and I purchased it because of our love of the outdoors, the peace and calm that nature provides, and being able to share time with family and friends.. The home is located a short distance between three of the most beautiful state parks you will find in East Tennessee. The house has everything you will need for a memorable stay that will surely bring you and your family back a second time.
Travelers will enjoy a unique quality vacation with their loved ones or a romantic getaway with each other. The cabin is luxurious, comfortable well equipped with everything you will need and well suited for those who are seeking adventure as well as peaceful mountain surrounds that inspire awe. Wildlife is abundant in the area and is best viewed while either sipping coffee on the front porch in the morning or while driving through one of the lovely state parks nearby with your family.
This was a great home for our family to meet. We had family coming from multiple locations and we love the layout of the home with split bedroom floor plan and three great bathrooms. The clawfoot tub in the master bedroom was beautiful. The beds are very comfortable.
I would highly recommend this home!!
Perfect for larger groups, home is very private and is stocked with everything you need. The only things you need to bring is personal items and food. There was some games which occupied our younger people. We dined on the deck several evenings. It's so perfect. It was so nice to be able to wash our clothing before leaving, because it's tiring after vacation to go home unpack and wash up. The owner and keepers were so nice to check in on us and ask if everything was okay and if we were enjoying ourselfs , it's also a tremendous value for larger groups and we were also so thankful to bring our fur babies. We're hoping to get booked in for years to come.
Nice, clean, private cottage with all amenities as listed on well-maintained property. The owner/manager representative was timely and thorough in communication. Great area for dogs to walk about and stretch legs. We spent our entire two days at the property to relax though we didn't make it to the sauna. We did find that the highway noise is a bit loud with trucks downshifting and with periods of heavy traffic. We've dropped the rating from 5 to 4 for only that reason. Perhaps a fountain in the front would help drown out that noise. Would recommend this property all the same.
we had a great time for the short time we were there. the place was very clean wish we could have stayed longer the only thing i would suggest would be to put more silverware as 3 tea spoons are not enough and change the check out time to 10:00 thank you for letting us rent your cabin
The cabin and the area it is located is 5+ stars. The cabin offers everything and more for a retreat near Fall Creek Falls. It is tucked back off the main road in total seclusion and privacy but yet near everything a family may need. My family and I rented this cabin for our family vacation to experience Fall Creek Falls State Park and to enjoy family time.
I enjoyed waking up in the early morning hour to enjoy a cup of coffee while sitting on the back deck listening to the birds and enjoying Mother Nature itself. In the evening my family and I spent time together grilling and sitting either on the beautiful back deck or around the fire pit. The property is very well maintained and offers a couple of sheds which provides you with wood for the fire pit, sauna and grill. It also has a fenced in area that I could let my fur baby run and play ball. The time my family and I spent at this cabin was priceless. We enjoyed making wonderful memories at such a beautiful place. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone who is wanting to spend time near Fall Creek Falls.
The owners are very kind and thoughtful people, Terri and Randy and they had taken time out of their day to call me to make sure we had everything we needed and to wish us a wonderful vacation. That meant so much to me.
Thank you, Terri and Randy for allowing us to rent your cabin. The only problem we had was leaving. :)
My family and I could not have been more pleased with the accommodations. The location was awesome and afforded us the opportunity to experience small town as well as big city living.
