We rented this condo for a family wedding that was at Snowbasin. We could not believe how much room we had. It was the perfect place for a large family reunion etc. More family rented unit 404 in the same cul du sac. We had all the space and large table and they had the home theater and foosball. It was such a good complement to our condo. Wish we could have spent more time in that area but we mostly spent the nights there playing from the selection of games and cards. We only ate breakfast in the condo but the kitchen was well supplied so we could have cooked more meals there. It was beautifully decorated. We had some problems with the fire alarms beeping that they did try to correct promptly. I would recommend this for a large group but if you have younger kids to entertain, unit 404 might be just as good of choice (just smaller).
Pros: lots of space to visit and enjoy each others company yet most bedrooms were set up with there own bath and TV's if you wanted to get away.
easy to get to, large kitchen and dining room table, 24 hr gas station a mile away for anything you forgot.
Cons: No grill or hot tub with this unit
This was my third time staying in this unit and the 6th time at Wolf Creek/Moose Hollow. Once again I was very pleased with the stay. The TV's have been upgraded and a wider selection of pots, pans and utensils has been enhanced. I would recommend this unit for any large group.
We typically rent a condo 3 or 4 times a year for family get togethers. We have rented several in the Eden area . This one is our favorite. It is comfortable, clean and well cared for! The only negative for us is that we like to cook when we are together and the kitchen is not well supplied. There are a few pans, pots, etc, but not many, and there are no basic pantry items, so if you plan to cook be sure to bring everything you may need.
Great property for our family. Jim provided excellent service before and during our stay. Five bedrooms; two bedrooms have two beds and share a Jack/Jill bath; each of other three bedrooms have private bath. As in most condos no bedrooms on main floor. Separate kitchen, living and dining on main floor and large family room on ground level allows for different activities simultaneously. Kitchen has island and great view. Carlos & Harley's Cantina is a must for a local experience.
Our family enjoyed our stay at this unit. It was very new, clean and comfortable. The only problem we had was getting the satellite to work. Eden is a small cozy town with no frills and Powder Mountain is huge with no line. Will definitely rent this unit again in the future. Thank you, Jim and Rebecca.
Our family of 5 really enjoyed our first visit to Powder Mountain and our stay in C401 Wolf Creek. This unit is huge, hardly used, and convenient to the mountain. Eden Utah is somewhat isolated, but there is a moderately sized grocery store down the road (Valley Market) which we visited often. For a larger selection and a liquor store a 30 minute drive to Ogden is required. Also there is no fine dining (that we could find) and limited restaurants serving mostly Pizza and Mexican food. We cooked nearly every breakfast and dinner. The kitchen has ample cooking utensils, and a great stove/oven.
Unfortunately, 2 members of our family had the flu so they were inside much of the week. The satellite did not work the first 2 days, but Rebecca from Wolf Creek was responsive and after 2 days we got it working. It never did come on in the theatre room. The club has a variety of games and a great sitting area. Saw, but never used the communal hot tub.
As I mentioned, the unit is very large and appears to be very lightly lived-in. It was very comfortable, but we would suggest a few improvements. First, the kitchen area, dining room, and living room need window coverings. It was like living in a fish bowl at times. The ad listed fireplaces throughout including the master, however there is only one fireplace which is in the living room. A few more TVs in the bedrooms would be nice. Also at some point flat screen TV’s would be an improvement and a less complicated sound system. Lastly we were not promised a great view because there really is none, other than out of the upstairs non-master. The end unit is nice except these units are close together so we got to hear everyone in their hot tubs and the hill adjacent is used for sledding.
We don’t want to focus on the negatives because this is a VERY nice unit. We had a great time, other than sick family members. First time to Powder Mountain and loved it. No lines, great rates, and even 6 days after the last snowfall we were finding a few areas of untracked powder. Never made it to Snowbasin. If you go to Powder Mountain you can rent at the ski shop. Dave and Amy Connelly and their staff are amazing. Gets a little crowded at times, but watching Dave work the crowd is worth it. Also Diamond Peak Mountain Sports rents equipment and has a great selection of ski wear, boots, and skis for purchase. Rental selection is good. They saved us on a boot repair and supposedly Jason is the best around for repairing boots.
Located in the Wolf Creek Resort, Ogden Valley. Rolling farmland valley with World Class ski resorts on either side. (Snowbasin and Powder Mountain). If you love winter, this place is hard to beat. How about summer? SPECTACULAR! Mountain biking, hiking, fishing, boating. This is a place to PLAY, year round!
