About Edward J. Rusher

Eleanor and Edward and their two sons visited Delray Beach several years ago and fell in love with area. They acquired this home to have an escape from the recently bitter cold winters of New England. They enjoy all the Amenities that Delray beach Community has to offer and the easy getaway to warmer weather!

Edward J. Rusher purchased this cottage in 2013

Why Edward J. Rusher chose Delray Beach

We love the historic district and our cottage and we didn't want to have to drive anywhere when on vacation. We can walk, bike or scooter to Atlantic Ave to eat and shop. Also, we ride our bikes to the beach and parks with our young boys.

What makes this cottage unique

Perfectly located close to everything. A 1926 Spanish Mission Style home with loads of charm, coziness, and a manageable size.

Great house in a great location

  • 5 of 5

This cute relaxed house is in meticulous condition and looks to be newly renovated while keeping the charm. Pictures on line are accurate . We loved the backyard area which has a covered cupola , lawn chairs and umbrella table. The kitchen is well equipped. Loved the 30 min walk to the beach and 15 min walk to Atlantic Ave. We did not meet the owner Edward but he was very responsive to our questions and needs. I highly recommend this cottage.

Charming Cottage

  • 5 of 5

We spent two wonderful weeks in this adorable cottage. The home is cozy and comfortable and very well appointed. The backyard/patio was the perfect place for a quiet afternoon or entertaining friends on a warm Florida evening. The location is perfect - a quiet, quaint neighborhood that is within walking distance to great restaurants, Delray's social scene, the beach and shopping. Edward was a pleasure to work with and always available. We hope to return soon for a longer stay!

Awesome home

  • 4 of 5

Edward's home in Delray was very comfortable , clean & exactly as pictured. He communicated with us all along the way . We did not rent a car & found the location very convenient to Pineapple Grove & Atlantic Avenue. The beach was about a mile away but again we walked with no problem with beach chairs in hand.Publix grocery store was also walkable. We would definitely come back the next time we visit Delray Beach 😊

Visting Parents

  • 5 of 5

The whole family enjoyed the stay at the cottage. It had everything needed to make it a comfortable setting. Even enjoyed the mangos from the tree in the backyard. The house was very well kept and tastefully furnished. Edward was great to deal with and made sure that we had a great stay. If visiting the area again with the family would most definitely rent from him again.
