This “Victorian-Modern” (1892 on the outside 2012 on the inside) flat is exceptionally clean and comfortable. It is a ground floor apartment and a larger and more elegant version of 473 Clarence, which is the upstairs apartment featured in Ad 457131. Like the upstairs suite, this apartment features three, well-spaced bedrooms with brand new queen beds and linens.

If both apartments are available, together they can accommodate up to 12 people.

There are two full bathrooms - one with a 6 ft tub and the other with a custom glass shower enclosure.

The brand-new, eat-in kitchen is well stocked with enough dishes, glassware, serve ware, pots and pans to feast with friends and/or family.

There is a gas range, a dishwasher and an automatic espresso machine.

The living room has a new flat screen television, cable and a functioning gas fireplace. The apartment has wi-fi.

There is a formal dining room with a large glass table and seating for 8

There is a nice place to sit and watch the world go by on the front porch. There is also a large, private, covered porch out the back door off the kitchen. The rear porch is well-lit and furnished with a table and comfortable seating.

475 Clarence is comfortable in both winter and summer. It also has its own furnace, central air conditioner and thermostat. Every bedroom has a ceiling fan.

There are only two steps up to the front door to 475 Clarence and so this apartment may be suitable for people with mobility issues.

Parliament Hill, the Central Business District, the University of Ottawa, the historic Byward Market, the National Gallery, DFAIT, DND HQ, Rideau Falls, Rideau Hall and other destinations can easily be reached in less than 30 minutes on foot in any weather.

Transit is also available: major transit routes serving Ottawa and with connections to Gatineau are located on the next corner at Cobourg St. The property has excellent access to the Macdonald-Cartier Intraprovincial Bridge to Gatineau, Highways 5 North and 50 East.

Neighborhood amenities (within 15 minute walk) include 2 indoor pools (one is a 2 minute walk), a public, outdoor NHL-sized skating rink, the Rideau River path system for running/walking, two major grocery stores, specialty shops and restaurants in the Byward Market and New Edinburgh, an independent movie theatre, and more.

This was our second stay at Allison's house & it was perfect. We were 2 couples sharing the house. It is spacious, comfortable & well maintained & has everything you could possibly need. We hosted a dinner party for 8 people as if it was our own home.

We highly recommend this place!

Clean and well appointed property

Clean quiet property, within walking distance of all major tourist attractions. Really appreciated the food in the fridge and all of the kitchen and bathroom amenities. Comfortable beds. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks Allison.

Amazing Experience

My family and i stayed in Allison's apartment for 4 weeks earlier this month. I cannot express what a great experience it was. I have a 2 year old and a 4 year old. We stayed for 4 nights and arrived quite late the first night. Allison had stocked up the fridge with eggs, milk, pancake mix, syrup, cereals, fruit, bread and an incredible amount of frozen and packaged food items and condiments for us. It was a blessing with small kids. I had enough breakfast food to last our entire stay. She provided us with some amazing toys and books that the kids couldn't play enough of. The place was spacious, spotless and the beds were quite comfortable. I have yet to travel to any other place that provided the comforts of home the way Allison did. If we come back to Ottawa, i would definitely seek this place out again. Thank you Allison for everything.

The perfect rental!

I have stayed in many VRBO and Airbnb rentals, and this rental gets the highest marks of all. Not only is it beautiful, stylish, immaculate, and well-located, it was pre-stocked with fresh fruit, eggs, milk, yogurt, coffee and many other starter foods. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need including a fantastic expresso maker and the outdoor space is charming. Add that to the fact that Allison is the perfect host and you have yourself a winner. Thank you Allison for your exceptional communication throughout the rental process and for getting us the extra parking permit. You are the best!

Love it.

the pictures on this site don't give the place any justice.

the place is super clean and very well taken care off. it's like 10 stars hotel and beyond.

Alisson is amazing and very caring. I wish we were able to see her in person to thank you but we were not able and it's our fault. the place is close to everything . the area is quite and nice.

you will have a very relaxing worry free time here at Alisson's

we will be back for sure but next time we are taking both flats :)
