Tastefully decorated, roomy, well-equipped and in a great location!
We enjoyed a wonderful 6-night stay in this vacation rental. The home was spotless and spacious, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you would need. The "arrival amenities" were very much appreciated and made our first breakfast a cinch. Allison, the owner, certainly knows how to create a home away from home for her guests. Thank you!
Ottawa near Byward Market comfy stay
This property (and the owner) met every possible expectation for our stay. The unit was stocked with breakfast food essentials, including fresh fruit; the unit was spotlessly clean. The parking was convenient, and the owner was nearby to help us get the fireplace going. Furthermore, the owner was flexible in terms of our arrival and departure time. Great stay; highly recommended.
Another great stay with a great host.
We visit Ottawa once or twice a year to enjoy Winderlude, museums and all the other attractions the city has. We have stayed in the house almost every time and we are always happy. The apt is well equipped and Allison is great host that goes above what most others do. There are items stocked in the fridge on arrival that make getting settled quite a bit easier.
A great spot for a young family
We had an excellent experience staying at Allison's property. She had done many thoughtful things to make us feel at home in the house over the Christmas season. There was a lovely (artificial) Christmas tree with lights on a timer that would go off at night and come back on in the morning so we didn't even have to think about plugging them in or not. She had Christmas themed dishes in the kitchen and had even left us a plate of homemade Christmas cookies. She had also equipped the place perfectly for us with our two-year old. There were age-appropriate toys she had provided, a crib, highchair, baby gate to close off access to the downstairs, snow sleds on the front porch, etc. I really felt she went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. I would highly recommend this property to others.
Our family of six stay at this beautiful three bedroom home. Allison graciously left food in the fridge for our breakfast as we came in late the night before. She even made sure that my youngest had his favourite drink, chocolate milk in the fridge. She offered us warm clothing for the hockey game , and gave us hints of good places to eat. The house was very clean and had everything in it that you could possibly need. Would give this a ten star if it went that high. Perfect home and perfect owner. Susan st.
Fantastic! Every detail taken care of!
Our family of 6 (2 adults, 1 grandma & 3 kids) stayed in this beautiful duplex for 5 nights around Remembrance Day 2017. We were very impressed with many things. The communication prior to our arrival was awesome - Allison sent a note to see if we needed a stroller or any other baby gear. She also sent a note once we arrived to ensure everything was OK. The home itself was thoughtfully and beautifully decorated - it is rare to see such pride in a "rental" property. The kitchen was stocked was a great selection of basic food items but was also very well stocked with appliances and cooking tools. My husband & mother-in-law loved the coffee maker and I appreciated a full set of kitchen knives. We walked to Parliament several days, stopping at the shops in the Byward Market for a coffee along the way. Our kids loved the selection of books and the playground up the road. The home was quiet, comfortable and a great layout for families. Overall, it was a fantastic place to stay for our visit to Ottawa!
The location of this property makes Ottawa's best recreational and cultural attractions accessible without a car. Walk, bike, bus or take a cab. It's all very easy and fast.
