About the property

3 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom, Built in 2009, Direct Access to the National Forest

Newly built three bedroom, two bathroom mountain home at 9000 feet. Home is located in small gated community that is surrounded by the Medicine Bow National Forest. There is direct access to the snowmobile and ATV trail system of the national forest. There is year round access, even though we get lots of snow in the winter. Don't worry about pulling trailers to and from the mountain, you can enjoy the national forest directly out your back door.

The home has two queen beds, one full bed, one twin, and one king bed which accommodates eight people comfortably. All the furnishings of home are available for your use including a beautiful gas fireplace in the living room.

You can fish Miller Lake, Lake Owen and Rob Roy reservoir for trout or drive a few miles and fish the Laramie River or blue ribbon North Platte River which is approximately 30 minutes away.

The snowmobiling is excellent in the winter time and you don't have to bother with trailering your snowmobiles to and from the mountain. Ride straight from the cabin.

If you prefer to cross country ski or snowshoe, the rails to trails network is out your back door. Chimney Park trailhead is a few miles down the road and provides 32 miles of groomed trails for cross country skiing or snow shoeing.

There are local herds of deer, elk and moose in the area for your enjoyment.

If you come in the summer time, enjoy a campfire and gazebo.

Fox Park cabin

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time staying at the cabin. The cabin had all the accommodations needed and advertised. The property is in the "gated" community of Fox Park so there are other homes around but we felt it was still secluded and quaint. We read the reviews about all the animals everyone would see but really didn't think we would get a daily morning visit from the friendly fox too. Great cabin and great snowmobile trails!

beautiful clean comfortable cabin in gorgeous foxpark

  • 5 of 5

first off we want to thank reggie and paul for allowing us to stay at their beautiful cabin for the entire month of February 2018. we came out to ride the snowy range and it was awesome!! trail access right from the cabin made getting out to the backcountry very easy. we had a blast hated to leave. there are a few foxes that would come by every morning and again in the evening....they are very friendly and we will miss them coming by to visit. we will definitely be back. thanks again reggie and paul for making our stay so enjoyable!

Fantastic Wyoming Get Away

  • 4 of 5

This cabin was the perfect home base from which to hike, fish and ATV. The cabin is very clean and comfortable. The cabin sits in a very quiet small subdivision of sorts. We enjoyed ending our days on the cabin deck for cocktail hour. With the exception of one trip to Laramie to sample a brewery we cooked all of our meals at the cabin. It was the perfect place to spend time with our family and get back to nature.

Great stay!

  • 5 of 5

Great place to stay!! We had a little trouble when we got there and the owner was quick to respond and very accommodating! No worries! We spent the days in the mountains and nearby towns. Came back to the cabin for supper, games, and a good night's sleep. We suggest buying this book ... HIKING WYOMING'S MEDICINE BOW by: Marc Smith.

If you plan to do any hiking in the area. Levels are marked appropriately! Super time!!

Nice, clean and well maintained.

  • 5 of 5

The pictures of this property are very accurate in representing how nice this property really is. It's located in a small community that was very quiet and friendly. We even had a moose stroll down the street one morning. Our family would definitely stay in this home again.
