|Minimum Stay||3 nights|
Newly built three bedroom, two bathroom mountain home at 9000 feet. Home is located in small gated community that is surrounded by the Medicine Bow National Forest. There is direct access to the snowmobile and ATV trail system of the national forest. There is year round access, even though we get lots of snow in the winter. Don't worry about pulling trailers to and from the mountain, you can enjoy the national forest directly out your back door.
The home has two queen beds, one full bed, one twin, and one king bed which accommodates eight people comfortably. All the furnishings of home are available for your use including a beautiful gas fireplace in the living room.
You can fish Miller Lake, Lake Owen and Rob Roy reservoir for trout or drive a few miles and fish the Laramie River or blue ribbon North Platte River which is approximately 30 minutes away.
The snowmobiling is excellent in the winter time and you don't have to bother with trailering your snowmobiles to and from the mountain. Ride straight from the cabin.
If you prefer to cross country ski or snowshoe, the rails to trails network is out your back door. Chimney Park trailhead is a few miles down the road and provides 32 miles of groomed trails for cross country skiing or snow shoeing.
There are local herds of deer, elk and moose in the area for your enjoyment.
If you come in the summer time, enjoy a campfire and gazebo.
The description of the location was perfect. It was very well kept and beautiful inside and out. The owners were great to work with and very helpful. Highly recommend this location
Our family spent the weekend exploring Medicine Bow National forest on our 4-wheelers and fishing at nearby lakes. This cabin was the perfect weekend getaway for our family of five! We saw moose, deer and several fox! We will go back!
First, the interior of this house was very nice, comfortable and well done. The location is like being in an urban subdivision, only in the national forest. Pictures lead you to believe that this is in a secluded wooded area, but really it is in a "gated community" in the middle of nowhere. Yes, there are trails right there, but if you are looking for privacy and seclusion in the wilderness, this comes up short.
Traveled to Fox Park to spend the long holiday weekend “ 4th of July” riding our side by sides in Medicine Bow national forest. We loved this cabin!!!! It was very well appointed and quite roomy, 1900 sq ft., compared to what the pictures show. The owners were very good to work with and even called the home while we were there to confirm that everything was satisfactory, a very nice personal touch. The area of Fox Park was awesome, it was like a small hometown community, all the neighbors were all very friendly and welcoming. We are already planning another stay at this cabin. Love It!!!!!
Four adults stayed at the property. Overall our stay was excellent. IF, I we're going to stay again, I would need to have Wi-Fi.
Three of us are small business owners and as such it is almost imperative for us to be "connected" in the morning as well as PM messages. That aside, the accommodations were great.
Wifi service coming soon!
