Our apartment is a spacious 1670 sq ft 2 bdrm, 2 bath first floor unit. Recently upgraded with new carpets, painting, and much of the furnishings. (see video). There is a washer and dryer in unit. Comfortably sleeps six people. Two in each bedroom and a very comfortable convertible couch in living room.

Spectacular water views of wide converging canals from lanai and most of the windows in apartment. Lanai has screen door providing easy access to the pool area and waterfront.

Breezy point is a friendly community with people from all over the United States, Canada, and Europe. Located on a cul-de-sac, it is out of the way, peaceful and quiet. Easy access by car to everywhere on the island.

The nearest Gulf Beach is 3/10 of a mile away. It is an easy walk or there is paid parking by the beach. There is a beach buggy to carry the umbrellas, chairs, and cooler that are provided with the unit.

The twin beds and wicker furniture in the video have been replaced in our second bedroom. Our guest room now has a comfortable queen size bed with a charming bedroom set..

About Lilyan Spool

Lilyan and I vacationed in Marco Island for the first time almost three years ago. We fell in love. We bought this apartment to enjoy during the winter months when we retire. For now we are renting it to cover the costs of ownership We enjoy relaxing there during off season. We are both in the behavioral health field and own and operate four outpatient drug and alcohol treatment programs in Ulster County, New York.

The views from our lanai, living room, dining room, and master bedroom keeps on reminding you that you are surrounded by water. When we first saw the apartment we were immediately taken with the water views and sense of tropical paradise. We were in contract by the next morning. This is a unique setting offering a extraordinary experience of tropical living.

Notes:
There is a club house at Breezy Point. During season residents gather most Tuesday evenings at 5PM for a social gathering. Breezy Point is a friendly, comfortable, relaxed, and off the beaten trail place to enjoy a quiet month (or more) away from it all.

2 Outstanding Months of Vacation

Prior to arriving to this lovely condo we had a feeling that it would be extremely comfortable for us just based on our interactions with the owners. To say the least we were NOT disappointed. This well equipped, clean condo was precisely what we were looking for. It's proximity to the pool, beach and restaurants was ideal. The views from the veranda gave us that vacation feel of a home away from home. The location afforded us the opportunity to visit many other areas in Florida as well as friends in nearby Naples. We can wait to go back next year!

A truly great vacation home

Our month's stay was completely enjoyable. The apartment is exactly as described in the VRBO listing. It is spacious, homely and extremely well equipped. The décor is tasteful and the whole atmosphere is one of refined comfort. The view over the waterways provided a constant source of pleasure and variety: the movement of boats; the flight of pelicans, egrets, ibises, and ospreys; the slow underwater movements of manatees; and the acrobatics of dolphins. We found ourselves frequently drawn outside the lanai to dockside to watch the latest escapades of the wild life.

The location of the apartment is excellent. It is an easy walk to the beach, and as stated, this obviated the payment of parking for beach access. We also enjoyed walking to Caxambas park, about the same distance as the beach access, where there was constant activity of boat launches, people fishing from the wharf, returning fishermen cleaning their catches and the attendant pelicans waiting for scraps. Wild life is everywhere, birds around the lagoon at Tigertail Beach, the nest of bald eagles at Tigertail CT (near the beach), and of course the everglades.

We have rented many properties over the years in Hawaii, France, Italy and England, and Breezy Point is one of the best. The owners, Roger and Lilyan, are accommodating and easy to deal with, and they have created a real home away from home in a beautiful place. We recommend it most highly, and we hope to return!.

Just WOW!!!

Thank you for sharing your Breezy Point home with us.

Your place felt like a home, not a vacation rental.

Your VRBO 614982 description is accurate, but it's

NOTHING like being there, to see it yourself.

We appreciated your upgrades and additions

you made during your stay.

Our month there had certainly gone by too fast.

There wasn't anything that we could have wanted,

that was not already in your home. Everything

was like new. The view from the lanai of the

channel was beautiful. So full of wildlife, we saw

a manatee, dolphin, fish, pelicans, seagulls, herons,

wow, just WOW. And so quiet and peaceful and

relaxing.

Being on the 1st floor, you can go out the

lanai, and you are just steps to the

heated pool. My grandson REALLY liked that.

The beach buggy to cart the beach chairs,

umbrella, and beach bag were perfect for our

short walk to the beach. On several occasions we saw

the South Marco Beach Parking lot full, and cars

lined up to get in.

Your notebook full of local information was

very informative.

You were a pleasure to talk to and email with.

We really enjoyed our stay in your home, and

are hoping to return soon. We would highly

recommend others to stay here.
