This super villa is set in a wonderful area of South-East Mallorca. Only a few minutes from the beach and a 5 minute drive away from the international golf course at Vall d'Or. Located in Cala Murada, the romantic coast and conservation area. Its also, only a short drive to the lively resort of Cala D'Or. The property is modern and benefits from hot/cold air conditioning throughout. Four king-size bedrooms allows 8 adults to sleep in comfort. The sitting room and kitchen are open plan and allow for family gatherings and with 165 m2 of villa space there is certainly no overcrowding. The luxurious property is all on one level and benefits from a 10m x 5m private swimming pool with Roman steps. The private garden is extensive with plenty of room for sun-bathing on open terraces. A large Spanish barbecue and outside seating allows for dining in comfort under the stars. Two covered terraces with views to the pool and garden allow for comfortable relaxation. Private gated large drive.
Free Tennis Rackets: We have tennis rackets & balls available for free use by guests staying at the villa. There are local tennis courts, just 5mins walk from the villa, ideal for the younger guests to enjoy a pleasant afternoon, or even for the whole family. A selection of board and card games, along with a small selection of books are also freely available for guests use.
We were a party of 9 including 4 children (5-9) and 2 grandparents. We arrived around midnight as our flight was delayed but we were delighted with the villa when we arrived (an hour from Palma). The pictures on here do not do it justice. There was a welcome pack for us including cornflakes, milk and some snacks.
We were disappointed that the pool was not available to use the next morning but the pool man did arrive and after an hour or so the kids were able to use it and he came every 6 days or so to keep it maintained. We all loved the pool and was a perfect size. Although towels were provided there weren’t really enough so recommend you bring a couple of beach towels.
We enjoyed the BBQ and it was nice that we could all sit out on the terrace to eat. My father in law enjoyed pottering around the garden and at night we sat out and watched the bats in the garden.
There are local restuarants and a shop but there is a Lidl a short drive from Cala Murada (10 mins Felantix, 15 mins Porto Cristo and Cala D'or) but we preferred "Eroski" as they had more choice and were just as cheap.
We visited a few places including Porto Cristo and the Coves Del Drach, Cala D'or, the beach at Cala Millor, the Cathedral at Palma - which is stunning, Port Alcudia and Port Polenca. Nowhere was more than an hour away and a car is definitely recommended. We also went into Porta Colom for dinner one night which is a quaint little fishing town.
Cales De Mallorca is only a 5-minute drive away and although we nicknamed it mini Benidorm there are plenty of restaurants (although most have English menus) there is mini golf, go karting for younger children and some little rides. We visited the beach at Cala Murada and there is a lovely little restaurant there but we preferred the Es Domingos Beaches at Cales De Mallorca. There are two coves and the larger one seemed to be less crowded. It can be accessed via walking (20-30mins) from the villa but it took a couple of minutes to drive and park on the road. There is a lot of steps this way so not recommended for the walking impaired but if you drive into Cales de Mallorca there is a more accessible way in through the hotel. You can also pay to eat there and it cost 15 euro for adults and 5 euro for kids. This includes lunch at the restaurant (buffet style) drinks and dessert. Well worth it unless you bring a packed lunch. In between the 2 coves there is a little cave you can swim into.
Over all we had an amazing holiday
“We were a party of nine (4 adults and 5 teenagers) and found this villa extremely spacious; at no time did we feel on top of each other. The pool is a particular feature due to its very good size, great for swimming lengths and playing ball. The villa itself is very well laid out with fully equipped kitchen and living area with good selection of games, books and dvds. The villa was beautifully tidy and clean on arrival with separate towels provided for pool use. Excellent outside areas to find sun and shade, plenty of loungers and a large table and chairs that sat us all comfortably. A good variety of restaurants and excellent bakery in the village (walkable). We liked Porto Colom and hired paddleboards and boat here; also preferred the beaches here to the more local ones.”
All in all a very pleasant stay and excellent value.”
Lovely quiet area, feels residential. Great local village with a good supermarket and friendly restaurants serving good food, all within a short walk. Beach just down the road. We had a car so we explored the island. Great location for exploring locations on the east coast only half hour to south coast beach es trenc. Simple to get to from the airport. Pool is clean and not too deep. Unheated but good temp and refreshing. Bedrooms good size with big
comfie beds and air con in each.
We had a good time and would go back.
Some of the pictures do not do it justice.
When i arrived at the Villa it was late evening and I was happy that the walkway to the entance was well lit. I was very pleased when I entered the villa, it looked just like the photos and very clean an tidy. The pool was wonderful and the choice of two terraces meant that we could choose whether we wanted shade or sunlight. The kitchen had plenty of equipment and I was able to cook or barbeque outside even though the restaurants in the village catered for all budgets. The local beach, 3 mintue drive away was idilic and had a restaurant and toilets. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would definately stay again, highly recommended!
We were a party of nine people, spent a week in Villa Rosa and had a great time. Prior to arriving we had mentioned to the owners that one of our party used a mobility scooter. They took the trouble to convert two stone steps into a concrete ramp and also provided a mobile wooden ramp. The villa was very spacious and the thoughtful provision of a shower stool meant it was one less piece of hardware to carry on a plane.
The local restaurants were accessible, friendly and the food was good and within a short distance were many beautiful places to visit.
My family and I stayed at this lovely villa during July 2011. We were overjoyed by the size of the villa and the wonderful welcome basket. The village itself is timeless and extremely charming, with a few excellent restaurants. We ate fresh fish, tapas and pizza, as well as attending a local barbeque. The village is central to the east coast with lovely drives through the pine forests which surround the village. The pool was really warm and clean, the pool man came quite regularly which was reassuring. The villa is well maintained as is the large garden and I certainly would not hesitate to recommend it. We hope to return ourselves sometime in the future!

Cala Murada nestles amongst national parkland on the South East coast of Mallorca. This picturesque area is known locally as romantic wild coast. Surrounded by pine forests the village is an oasis of tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of other Mallorcan resorts. There is a small-secluded beach with fine sand, which has in the past achieved blue flag status. Situated between the towns of Porto Colom and Porto Cristo this charming location is ideal for a relaxed family holiday. The quiet little village has a center with a few small bars and family run restaurants. There is a doctor, bank, a supermarket, hairdresser, crazy golf and 2 tennis courts. The houses and villas are tastefully interspersed amongst the pine trees. Near by Cala d'Or, a lively area surrounded by pine-covered headlands and typical whitewashed Spanish buildings. It was formerly a fishing village, and now it is Mallorca’s largest holiday resort. Nearby Felanitx hosts a local Sunday market.
Other Activities: Mini Golf, Kayaking, Free WIFI on the beach.
Golf: The nearest golf course is Val D'Or which is only 3 kilometers drive.
