About Emma

After coming to this part of Florida during spring break with my family for years, we decided to purchase a home on Anna Maria Island. We quickly fell in love and realized we wanted to live here full time. We recently were able to make that dream a reality. We met the owners of this gorgeous home while it was under construction and became fast friends. They have allowed me to manage the property for them because they wanted a 'local'

Emma purchased this house in 2013

Why Emma chose Siesta Key

Location, Location, Location.

There is nothing like this home on Siesta Key. When you walk in you will be blown away by its size and beauty. The Gulf views are breathtaking on every level.

You are a 10 minute walk to the 'town' of Siesta, where there is a lively night life and restaurant scene... or just hang out in the gorgeous back yard and grill your dinner while lounging in the patio furniture or taking a dip in the pool.

What makes this house unique

Location - across the road from some of the most magnificent beaches in the world. You don't have to walk far to feel the sand beneath your toes and the sea breeze in your hair.

Sit out on one of your private decks to watch the sun set or read a book in the early morning breeze.

Because of its size, this home is the perfect vacation spot for a multitude of different agendas.

It's great for multi-family vacations, weddings, family reunions, guys golf getaways, girls getaways and so much more.

Guestbook comments from the manager

We were booking a very last minute vacation and stumbled across this home on VRBO. We called and spoke with Emma - who was really fantastic to deal with - she worked with us on logistics, helped us figure out flights/airports and met us at the house.

When we arrived we were totally overwhelmed (I actually cried) at how amazing this house is. The pictures are great but they don't compare to it in real life! It is a massive 4 story home and from the minute you walk into the foyer you know you have arrived at a true gem of a home. The rooms are all so thoughtfully decorated and the VIEWS!!!! OMG You can look at the ocean from both of the INSANE master suites as well as the "club room" which is like a second family room with a wet bar.

There were beach chairs, beach towels, a wagon to take everything to the beach in. When you read that you are right across the road from the beach, believe it. A quick walk down the sand dunes and we were watching sunset every night.

This house is so big that you could lose people in it! You think that 14 - 16 people will feel crowded but there's so much privacy.

I can not say enough about this place. We hope to make it an annual vacation spot!!!

Terrific place for families to vacation!

  • 4 of 5

Our family of four stayed here with three other families in August, for a grand total of 15 people, and we never felt like we were tripping over each other. There's plenty of space for a lot of people, and the amenities were terrific. There were a lot of things for the beach and a wagon to take them in, the pool was wonderful, and the kitchen was big enough for several adults to be in at the same time. The gorgeous white sand beach is less than a five minute walk and it's only a half-mile from the village. The bunk room was a great novelty for the older children (11, 10, 9, and 7) and the other bedrooms were quite spacious, with most of them having an en-suite bathroom. The ping pong table was tons of fun and there were a lot of pool toys for the kids to play with. The hot tub was lovely and having the grill area and patio was great, as it meant that we could maximize our time outdoors. Be aware, though, that the water pressure in the showers isn't very strong and there are some odd things missing from the kitchen, like a dish drying rack and a good set of knives - the ones that are there were quite dull. Also, be sure to bring bug spray, as there were a lot of mosquitos on the patio!

We vacation in Siesta Key almost every year and would absolutely come back to this property with another big group!

Absolutely Fabulous

  • 5 of 5

How fortunate for us that we found this fabulous house in Siesta Key, FL, for our family reunion. This magnificent four story house rental was perfect for our family of 16 -- 4 children (ages 9-14) and 12 adults. The pool, with pool toys, was so refreshing, the ping pong table was the site of many tournaments, the well-equipped kitchen was fabulous, two great gathering areas, spacious bedrooms--most with their own bathrooms, beautiful balconies on each level, with fantastic views, to enjoy the sunrise, sunset and everything in-between. The location of this house could not be better. Lots of sand toys, umbrellas, chairs and a wagon in the garage for a short one block walk to the beach, and an easy walk or drive into Siesta Key Village. 5 O'Clock Somewhere is definitely a little slice of paradise. Emma was wonderful to work with. We look forward to returning.

Siesta Key is Wonderful!!

  • 4 of 5

We spent a week here with a very large family (lots of kids / adults). It was a wonderful location, very close to a beautiful white sand beach. The house was large with it's own elevator, pool, multiple kitchens etc... We slept comfortably and absolutely loved the key / area. The stove / oven aren't perfect so if you love to cook, be warned. Also, there were insufficient bath towels, toilet paper and a lot of the beach stuff was broken. The house however is in great shape, well laid out, large and overall well-appointed. They kids spent all day in the pool / hot tub which was a treat.

If you have a larger group that wants to stay on Siesta Key, this house is great. It's located halfway between the main beach and The Village so the location is perfect. You do have some views of the Gulf from the upper levels of the house in front but that's street side. The pool and patio in back were used a lot. It's a beautiful house yet very functional. They appeared to have this purpose in mind when they built it. It's 4 floors and the first one is more like one and a half. It's really 3 floors on stilts so there's LOTS of stairs if your bedroom is on the top floor and serveral are. There is an elevator to the third floor but it's slow. It worked out well for us but good to be aware of it. We had three families stay there and there was no space problem. We loved it.

Perfect place for our far flung family to spend a week together

  • 5 of 5

Part of me worries that if I praise this house too much, it will never ever be available for our future family vacations. We were 3 generations, 12 people in all including 5 grandchildren 6 and under. Both the house and Siesta Key in general were perfect, beyond our expectations. The house is outfitted better than any we've rented to date via VRBO. Enough dishes, cookware, appliances to have great dinners at home 4 of our 7 nights. The elevator was a big hit, given there are 4 floors. The rooms were spacious and air conditioning worked well. The house has multiple bicycles, a beach wagon, beach chairs, tons of sand toys, and beach towels, and it is a short walk to the path to what has to be one of the best beaches anywhere. The sand doesn't get hot, no matter what the temperature. It is white and clean and perfect for sandcastles. The Gulf is also a welcome change from the east coast oceans where some of us live, easy for young children to play in. And the pool was a treat at the end of each beach day.

This house is a 10-15 minute walk into the village, funky and fun. Parking was at a premium, so we either walked in or took the free little jitney shuttle. Leaving Big Olaf's Ice Cream behind brought our 6 year old granddaughter to tears. She just wanted to stay a few more days. Ultimately it was time to go home - 1 to Australia, 5 to Toronto, 4 to Connecticut, and the grandparents to New York, but all decided that this was the best vacation ever.
