Our unique and beautiful loft apartment is in an Art Deco listed building, has high ceilings huge windows and spectacular views onto two Victorian garden squares with a large south west facing balcony overlooking one of them and private access (with key) into the other . There is also a huge communal terrace where you can enjoy the london skyline, as well as access to two communal gardens.There are 3 bedrooms all with extremely comfortable beds, the master bedroom has a luxury mattress and quality linens are provided. All three bedrooms are provided with either hanging or shelving space for your clothes. A baby cot is also available. If only 2 bedrooms are needed, one of the bedrooms converts beautifully into a home office.
The bathroom is spacious with underfloor heating, a bath, shower wc and sink as well some shelf space in the cabinet.We also provide plenty of luxury towels.
We provide free WIFI, a projector linked to apple TV with surround sound also connected to the music system into which you can plug your MP3 player. Clear instructions on how to use all of these is provided.
The apartment is in zone 2 with numerous tube (overground) stations just 5 minutes walk away, there are also numerous buses that can take you you to all the sites as well. Our local area is an attraction in its own right with Broadway
Market, the Olympic Park, the Geffrye Museum, the fashion hub ( fashion outlets include Burberry , Pringles and Aquascutum.
Unlike many other holiday rentals we include everything in the price; taxes, heating, water, electricity, wifi, use of communal spaces and even parking permits for on street parking. Also included are high quality bed linen and towels, tea, dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent, toilet paper and soap.
"We were looking for an accommodation in the North-East of London and were as well focused on where to leave our car during our stay in London. Regarding this special subject, our advance phone call with Thugela was very helpful and offered a good feeling that this could work out. Although a bit puzzling at the beginning, as the parking vouchers were missing, everything worked out pretty fine with Thugela's help.
However, the flat is located in an upcoming part of London which makes it quite interesting to explore. Shops and Restaurants all in good average walking distance. But also public transport by bus, over- and underground offers all choices to move to the different districts within London.
And finally, not to mention the flat itself which offers enough space for a comfortable stay.
So for us, a family of 3, it was exactly the right place to stay."

Plus, jonctions pour trains par bus 38 ou 242 par les stations Dalston Junction ou Hackney Central, accessibles par trajet à pied, moins de 15 min.
Supermarchés, Tesco, Mark et Spencer, Iceland et autres, dans centre de Hackney, moins de 15 min à pied.

A beautiful, spacious and bright well designed property in a great part of Hackney. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. The owners were very accommodating, responsive, and easy to work with. Recommended.
We loved this apartment. The apartment is just how it looks-spacious and clean. Tughela was a fantastic host. She had left us a phone to use, oyster cards (for public transportation which normally have a 5 pound deposit each), a bottle of wine, etc. She was in contact with us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. She was very quick with her responses on email or phone.
On Saturday we went to the local market. It was absolutely fantastic! It had all kinds of prepared foods, produce, bakery, clothing, etc to buy. The local little market was a couple of blocks walk and the store owners were very nice and friendly. The bus stop was just a block from the apartment so at the end of our long touring days we had a very short walk home. We loved the balcony and walking up to the rooftop-both had great sunset views. The apartment was in an old school building which was cool. Once you were inside you had no idea it was a school except for the creative reuse of the gym floor. We knew from the location description that the apartment was about 40-45 minutes (by public transportation) from the common tourist spots and that was accurate. We used the overground a couple of times, the bus and the Tube most often. The overground stop was a few blocks walk. We felt like it was a good value for London where real estate is so expensive. I believe the area of London we were in is called the Hackney area. I felt like we were where real Londoners live. In fact, one of our tour guides told us we were in his neighborhood.
Oh yeah, it was very nice that she left us a Apple charger to use. We didn't have to worry about the fact that we had only one converter. (It helped more than we would have thought!)
There were five of us who stayed there and we were very comfortable.
