About the property

It's our family apartment almost in the center of La Thuile, well decorated and full of those little objects which will make you feel at home. The apartment is composed of:

- a well-equipped kitchen (except the dishwasher)

- a living room with dining area, two fornitures, television, radio and CD player, a new sofa bed 160x194x18

- a bedroom with wardrobe, fournitures, a bunk bed

- a new fully equipped bathroom with toilet, bidet, sink, luxury shower, washing machine Samsung.

At the entrance a wall forniture stores kitchen appliances, detergents and cleaning tools. On guests' disposal there is a kit of basic home products (salt, sugar, spices, tea and herbal tea etc.).

Internet wi-fi.

From the balcony (restored in June 2013) a great view of the mountain range overlooking La Thuile, including the beautiful Rutor glacier.

There is a closed car garage in the basement of the flat.

The stop of the free shuttle which goes to ski lifts is in front of the flat.

In summer you can relax in the garden and enjoy the heated swimming pool (from 10.07 to 31.08).

The price indicated for the rental of the apartment is inclusive of heating, electricity, water supply, gas, 4 hours final cleaning.

It is possible to rent the bed linens, towels etc: € 15/people/week.

"Very nice aparment with quite surrounding. I spent with my family (4 person)a very good week and slopes are very good. Yuo can find adequate blue slopes for beginners. Free Shutle just infonrt of the building is very good option to arrive at ski place. The House has also parking place and store for ski aquiment. La Thuile is a small town with a few restraunts and nothing to do after dinner. Dont forget to bring a lot of books to read afternoon. There is also shuttle to Courmayeur (a famous ski place)which is about 1/2 hour to reache."

"The apartment is in a go...

"The apartment is in a good location on a quiet residential street and within walking distance of the gondola the ski bus also stopped opposite every 1/2 hour or so), restuarants and bars of la thuile. The apartment was clean and homely with a well equipped kitchen if needed. The owner was also very helpful and easy to communicate with. All in all a nice apartment for a very reasonable rent in a very good ski resort."

Appartamento molto confortevole, pulito e dotato di ogni comfort... il letto è davvero una nuvola nel quale ristorarsi dopo una giornata in montagna. Elena sempre presente, premurosa e gentilissima. Non ha nemmeno fatto aspettare la cauzione che ha restituito subito, e ha anche rimborsato il set di biancheria non utilizzato. Speriamo di tornare anche l'anno prossimo perché è stato tutto perfetto...

From Milan airport:

reach A4 (Milano-Torino motorway), than follow signs toward Aosta (A5) then follow signs toward Monte Bianco. Exit the motorway in Morgex, then take SS26 to Pré St Didier, then take the mountain road to La Thuile. The apartment is in the hamlet of Bathieu in front of the hotel "Maison des Rêves" ( hospitality-hotels-Maison des Rêves vedi scheda dettaglio-ubicazione in paese).

From Turin airport: take A5 toward Aosta and then follow the same instructions given above.

From Geneva airport: follow direction toward France and Mont Blanc. Take the 'autoroute blanche' motorway until Chamonix, then the acces road to the Mont Blanc tunnel. Cross the tunnel and enter Italy, follow the SS26 until Pré St Didier and then follow instructions above.

Few numbers to describe skying in La Thuile: 2 countries with a single ticket, 37 ski-lifts, 74 tracks of all level of difficulties for a total of 150 km of slopes . The cross-country ski trail is 50 meters away from the apartment.

In summer, from the center of the village departs many tracking trails of varying length and difficulty reaching beatiful spots. Some examples: Deffeyes refuge on the feet of the Rutor glacier, Chavannes and Orgeres valleys (overlooking the Mont Blanc) , Monte Belvedere, the Belvedere of Arpy (balcony on the Mont Blanc chain). La Thuile is a paradise for mountain bike lovers: 220 km of routes between Italy and France.

For what regards delicatessen shops, in the village there is a good butcher (Celestino), the 'Maison du fromage' (awarded by Slow Food), which sells high quality cheeses and hams, the 'Chocolat' shop for gourmet pastries.

Finally there are numerous and different restaurants: BIOHOTEL EDEN Frazione Villaret 74(food elaborated with organic products), LA TAVERNA COPPAPAN Frazione Villaret 68(good quality/price ratio, menu changing weekly), PIZZERIA DAHU (under the TAVERNA COPPAPAN), pizza cooked in wood owen, LA FORDZE Frazione Bathieu 28(very close to the apartment), traditional Valle d'Aosta food.
