Enjoy a relaxing family get-together in this 2 bedroom house. You'll enjoy the quiet reprieve of this residential neighborhood, which still offers easy access to all of the attractions of Venice and Marina Del Rey. This 1950s built single story house has all hardwood floors, modern appliances and comfy furnishings, including a 50" flat-screen TV with cable and HBO in the living room, and wifi throughout the house. Accommodating a family will be easy with a full-size sofa bed in the living room, a queen-size bed in the back bedroom, and a king-size bed in the front bedroom. Cook in the fully-stocked kitchen and dine indoors, or grill and eat on the back patio overlooking the roses, lemon tree, and succulent garden in the back yard.
Relax in privacy under the sun in the back yard, or stroll down to the beautiful Alla Park just half a block a way. The house is also within comfortable biking distance to the Marina, where you can ride the path along the water to Playa Del Rey to the south, or Venice Beach to the north. With parking for up to six cars on the property, you'll have ample space to leave the car at home and roam the neighborhood.
As most beach properties near the California coastline, this house is not equipped with A/C. However, air conditioning is not generally needed in this area, as the the temperatures tend to stay near the 70s year around! For our warmer days, each bedroom is supplied with a ventilator fan which, combined with open windows, allows for refreshing cool air circulation.
Rented LA Marina Del Rey Adjacent for 8 nights. We were a family of 5 including 2 children. Everything from making our reservation, to arrival & checking out was great. The leasing agents were very efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. The property was spacious, modern and clean. We had everything we needed for our stay. We even met the actual property owners who were very nice people. Thanks so much to Globe Homes and Condos for making our vacation that much nicer. I'd definitely recommend this property and would rent again.
My husband, 20 month year old son and I just stayed in this lovely home for a week. We enjoyed the proximity to conveniences such as grocery stores and Glen Alla Park at the end of the street. It was easy to travel to many places in LA. My husband enjoyed runs to Venice Beach and along a nearby running/biking path. We also really appreciated having the grill to save money going out and so we could stay up and eat after our young son went to bed. We rented a small crib which was very handy and the beds and bedding were comfortable.
It is pretty obvious, but you definitely do need a car to get most places. Although we made it work, and it's always at your own risk, this home was not the best for a young child. If you had slightly older children it wouldn't be a problem.
There was plenty of space to relax and spread out. We enjoyed our time in the quiet neighborhood! We also had the pleasure of meeting the very sweet owners. Thank you!
