Home has new furnishings: beds, couch, dining room tables, Hardwood floors, large sunny deck-with fenced back yard. Fully equipped deluxe kitchen with 5 burner stove and fully equipped walk in pantry. Italian leather couches-new. Gas fire place, with large screen TV/DVD player and full size piano in living room. Master has a large walk in closet with private bath, with double sinks, New King size bed with all new bedding, tall ceiling with over head fan. 2nd bed room has a Select Comfort queen bed, for max comfort, large closet with built in storage. 3rd bedroom has a two single beds, and great closet space. also reading lamp and clock. Huge private and sunny deck off of dining room. Two car garage is heated and spacious. New washer and dryer on first floor.
Our family has been in Alaska since 1981 and enjoyed our time here. We have been on many adventures across the State and have much to share with guests.

We choose this home for its private neighborhood located in the core area of Wasilla. You are close to everything South Central Alaska and Wasilla have to offer. Easy access to highways, and shopping. This home is very nicely equipped and as close to new as you will find, for a fun loving family or seasoned executive.
The Great Outdoors is close at hand in addition to all of the city benefits. hiking, fishing, swimming, boating, biking, canoe trails, parks, flight seeing as well as close shopping are all benefits of the property.
We recently stayed at this property for a long weekend in the fall. The home was very clean, comfortable and convenient. I prepared a large dinner for my family and it was very easy as the kitchen was well equipped.
My only issue, if you could call it that, was that there is no internet at the home. However, there was good cell service and it was kind of nice to be offline for a few days. It gave us a good excuse to not have to work. Also, I wasn't able to find a hair dryer - you may need to pack one if you use one.
We will definitely be back.
The home was beautifully presented. Very quiet neighbourhood, would not know that you had neighbours. Beds very comfortable. Everything as portrayed in the property description. Check in and out very easy procedures. Host available for any queries.
The house was very nice, clean, comfortable. The property owner was very responsive and check in on this regularly. Mike is extremely pleasant to work with!
Although the house does not have Internet, cellular service is quite good.

The house is in a great location, quiet neighborhood and easy to find. The Master bedroom/closet was nice and big. The king bed in the master bedroom is a firm mattress so if you like a softer mattress, like me, this is not the room for you. My Brother stayed in the Queen bedroom and had no complaints. The 3rd bedroom is 2 separate twin beds and not a double/twin bunk bed shown on the VRBO website but that worked out fine for us. The kitchen was stocked well with utensils, had plenty of paper towels and dish washing soap. The bathrooms were well stock with toilet tissue, wash clothes and towels. Having the washer and dryer to use was a great plus and there was plenty of wash pods and dryer sheets. They are both very noisy however so we did not use them at night when everyone was trying to sleep. We had no real issues to keep me from rating this a 5 star place to stay but it would have been nice to have a screen on the master bedroom window since we loved keeping the window open at night. The downstairs sliding glass door could use a screen door so that can stay open on the nice days and we would have used the BBQ grill if it was a gas/propane instead of a charcoal grill. We had a great visitor 2 houses down one evening, a junior bull Moose which was very exciting for us =)

My family ( 5 adults) rented this property for the week we were in Alaska. The house was wonderful! Plenty of room to spread out and sleep comfortably... The beds and pillows are great! We loved that Mike had all the things you would need already in the house ( soap,Laundry products, cleaning products, paper products etc.... The full kitchen was wonderful to make some meals in so we didn't have to pay and eat out every meal. The house is located close to Walmart and other shopping. We also found it centrally located for day trips to do sightseeing and hiking ( Hatcher's Pass; Mantanuska Glacier, Eagle River). Mike was great to meet us and show us around the property. Knowing he was local in case there were an issues ( which there wasn't) was nice also. The property is well maintained and very clean. I would defiantly stay again if in the area.
House was clean and nicely outfitted in a very quiet neighborhood. Our kids played safely outside in the front and back yards. Everything you needed to make you feel at home was available. Anything else was available at Walmart (a nicer one) about 5 mins away. Wasilla is a great area for a home base to venture out and explore. It's located about 45mins north of Anchorage. We went to Anchorage Zoo, road the train out of Anchorage to Seward with a day cruise, we went to Thunderbird Falls, and lake Eklutna to name a few. There are numerous fun outdoors activities just around the corner. I would highly recommend renting a nice place like this for some seclusion, far better than a crowded hotel. Mike was great to deal with and we enjoyed our stay. Cheers!
Property is located in the heart of South Central Alaska - close to numerous outdoor and indoor activities. We even have a nearby Muskox Farm!
Water activities are close by in the Summer months and lots of Winter activities as well.
