Great family rental

We stayed at this charming little house for a week with our 5month old baby. The house was perfectly located for the port and all the shops/restaurants (5min stroll) and only 10mins walk to the beach. The house was basic but had everything you would really need for a short stay.

The decked courtyard garden was quiet and enclosed but still a sun trap if you wanted to grab some sun during the day. The house also had wifi which was a bonus.

The only negatives were as follows: the drinking glasses in the house are very small so hard to have a large glass of water at night, and there is noise from the bin men who collect rubbish every day during summer months and do this through the night - but this is obviously an issue for all properties in the town and can not be avoided. Just worth knowing!

House in St Martin

We spent two lovely weeks in St Martin in this spacious property with our two year old and our baby. The house was well equipped, particularly the kitchen as we are keen cooks, and the enclosed garden was very safe for our children as it is decked and quite shady. It was only 5 minutes walk from the centre of St. Martin, with parking on the street outside. We hope to return the next time we holiday in Ile de Re. Jennifer & Kevin

Superbe maison, très conf...

Superbe maison, très confortable. L'aménagement a été fait avec goût et très astucieusement,tout en gardant le côté typique des maisons rhétaises. Accueil chaleureux du propriétaire. Les photos de la location correspondent tout à fait à la réalité.

Location pour 4 personnes très agréable.

La location est conforme au descriptif : c'est une maison idéale pour un couple avec un ou deux enfants. Elle est très bien située dans Saint Martin : proximité des commerces et du port mais aussi de la plage de la Cible.

La maison est en très bon état. A la belle saison, elle est optimisée par l'espace extérieur fort accueillant. Nous y avons passé un séjour en février qui nous a ravi et ce malgré un temps mitigé.

la description est sommaire et il manque des photo

Suite à notre réservation du 20 au 24 septembre à St Martin de Ré (site abritel et homelidays identique n°613453a

Nous avions bien précisé dans notre demande sur ces sites que nous étions « 2 Couples «. Précision d’ailleurs donnée au propriétaire par téléphone.

…….Entre autres, le point suivant concernant l’équipement indiquait :

« 2 chambres (1 avec 1 lit de 140 , l’autre avec 2 lits de 1 personne) »

la description ci-dessus est celle du site. Les nombreuses photographies vendent parfaitement la maison , mais les points qui nous ont posé problèmes sont les suivants (et ne figurent pas en photos) :

- Les chambres sont en enfilade (il faut passer par la chambre non photographiée pour aller dans les locaux communs et notamment toilettes et salle de bain)

- De plus les 2 lits de 1 personne sont deux lits superposés, qui plus est, adaptés à des enfants (hauteur sous le lit supérieur ne permettant pas à un adulte de sortir sans se cogner).

- Les draps étaient fournis mais pas à l’arrivée, il a fallu les demander avec insistance, heureusement que nous disposions d’un mail le précisant (outre le site internet)

- Le parking indiqué coûtait 15 € par jour à cette période (pas mentionné payant – nous l’avons découvert en arrivant) soit un cout de location majoré de 15 %-

Cette location manque singulièrement de précisions ? ? ? et peut parfaitement correspondre à une famille avec enfants mais en aucun cas à notre configuration.

Owner's Response: Les lits respectent les normes en vigueur et répondent aux besoins de toute personne ... sauf handicap. Je mesure 1.87 pour 95 kg et y dors très confortablement. Pour le stationnement, il y a un parking gratuit à proximité.

Agréable séjour

Nous avons passé un séjour très agreable dans la maison de Richard. Les photos et la description correspondent bien au logement. C'est une maison très calme, décorée avec goût et authenticité. Nous nous sommes rapidement sentis comme chez nous. La maison est idéalement située a 5 min des rues commerçantes et du port, sans être dans l'agitation touristique. Le matériel pour bébé nous a bien servi. Je recommande donc vivement ce logement et salue l'hospitalité de Richard. Un grand merci!
