Wonderful villa in a great location!
A beautiful villa with amazing views of the sea and everything you need for a perfect vacation! Our family of 4 had plenty of room and our kids loved the big terrace overlooking the sea. Annamaria was such a kind and helpful host, in so many ways! Her sweet father even brought us fresh eggs from his chickens for our bambinos. It made our stay even more memorable! Fantastic restaurants are close by, we had many great meals with beautiful views. We enjoyed staying in Praiano with it being less touristy than Positano. But Positano is a short drive/bus ride, has lots of shopping, restaurants and plenty of ferries to Capri for an amazing day trip. We are so happy we stayed here and would love to come back!!
Grazie della bella recensione e spero ancora di avevi come miei ospiti abbraccio te e la tua spelendida famiglia
Fantastic villa in a wonderful location
My family of four absolutely loved this villa. We have two children (18 and 20) and there was plenty of space. The location is absolutely perfect. Praiano is quiet and has a very "local" vibe. It's completely different from Positano and Amalfi. The villa, as one would expect, was up a few steps, but for this area, it really wasn't bad. Town center with the bus stop was literally a 1-2 minute walk away. The Path of the Gods was simply up some stairs (a lot of stairs) from the front door. The villa itself is very nice and clean. AnnaMaria has done a wonderful job of preparing this home for visitors. The bathrooms were great. The terrace was absolutely perfect. The view was wonderful. I could literally stay here for two weeks or two months. I would make special mention of the air conditioning, which worked amazingly well for an Italian (or European for that matter) villa. This place really could not have been better and I would love to plan a longer return. We walked to several restaurants in the town easily, and we walked down to the marina easily as well to catch our boat to Capri and our water taxis to travel the coast. AnnaMaria was happy to help set up rides etc. Highest marks!
Lovely property with a beautiful view!
Very clean property in Praiano with a fabulous view. The owner was very nice to work with and we loved meeting her family. It is very close to the bus stop which is the best way to get around except by boat. There is a small grocery store nearby as well. The beds were very comfortable. Our family of 5 stayed here and would recommend it to anyone!
Perfect place for experiencing the beauty of Praiano!
We stayed in Annamaria’s beautiful home during the first week of July. My son, who is 6, tells everyone that they need to take their kids to Annamaria’s place and play on the terrace! Praiano was the perfect place to stay - as others mention, it is much quieter than Positano and even more beautiful because it has retained the sense of a small town. We so enjoyed being close to the Church (and the bells ring throughout the day as others mention but you do get used to it!) and watching as people gathered each evening in the plaza to visit, with kids playing football and rollarblading. Yes, there are steps but the villa is near everything you need it to be. There are two markets in walking distance and the beach is not far. Go visit Lizart where the pottery is just beautiful and the people are equally lovely. My son fell in love with Nonna who we often found sitting at the table in the front of the store welcoming everyone and chatting with all who visted. We too had lovely visits from Annamaria’s father and despite the language differences, showed his kindness in every way possible. This is THE place to stay in Praiano. Don’t hesitate!
My family (daughters 16 and 20) and I had a wonderful time at this beautiful apartment in Praiano. The apartment is immaculate and nicely furnished. It has a very beautiful terrace with an amazing view. Annamaria is a fantastic host - she arranged for our pick-up from the train station in Naples (we highly suggest this), recommended restaurants, explained the local bus system and was always willing to help with anything we needed. You will get to meet her father and enjoy his homemade Limoncello - the best we had in Italy! Praiano is situated 15 minutes south of Positano by bus. Praiano is much quieter and without crowds. It has a nice beach and restaurants. There is also a grocery store within walking distance from the apartment. Everywhere on the coast has stairs - we walked to and from the beach most days. However to get to the beach or to the main part of town - you can use the local bus which run every half an hour for 1.3 Euro each way - they were great. We went to Positano, using the local bus, one day. We all agreed we were glad we chose to stay in Praiano because Positano is VERY crowded. On our last day, we charted a boat to Capri from Positano Tours, and they picked us up at the beach in Praiano. If you are looking for a quiet Italian coast vacation - this apartment is perfect! We WILL return and stay here again! Many thanks to Annamaria for her wonderful hospitality!
Grazie e stato bello leggere la vostra recensione e sapere che tutta la famiglia e rimasta contenta di questo soggiorno passato a Praiano un abbraccio e ancora grazie io assieme alla famiglia vi aspettiamo ancora.
Perfect vacation setting.
We spent two weeks at Casa Bianca and loved it. The villa has all of the amenities you could want, restaraunts and grocery stores within walking distance and spectacular views from all the rooms and the terrace as well. AnnaMaria was very welcoming and a terrific help coordinating our activities. Praiano was an ideal home base for exploring the Amalfi Coast. We took a boat to Capris, explored Ravello, Furore, Amalfi and Positano. AnnaMaria told us about a classical music concert held one morning up at Colle la Serra on the Pathway of the Gods, a strenuous hiking path from Bomerano to Positano. We hiked up, took in the concert and returned by way of the church of San Domenico, high in the hills above Praiano. One Fire Beach at La Gavitella was a favorite activity when we stayed closer to home. Amalfi and Positano were too crowded and seemed oriented towards serving the tourists. We much preferred the slower pace and local flavor of Praiano.
