La Longère a Broue is a spacious, five bedroomed, 18th Century farmhouse situated on the edge of a peaceful hamlet. Offering a blend of contemporary design and authentic period features. It’s comfortably equipped with quality furniture and appliances throughout. With a private pool and enclosed gardens, it’s an ideal peaceful family holiday in the glorious French countryside.
We can cater for all ages, providing cots and high chairs for babies.
The layout is good for the Grandparents especially if stairs are an issue. See the floor plan in photo section.

60th Birthday Celebration in rural France

We had a fantastic family holiday to celebrate a 60th birthday. The Longere was perfect and suited all our needs. The location suited our group of 3 generations. It was so peaceful. Special mention to Alex and Anita for making the surprise 60th work so well. It was a truly memorable day. The pool was brilliant, safe for our grandchildren and everyone else. Highly recommended holiday rental.

Well maintained first class family accommodation in mid France

We were a group comprising great grandparents, grandparents,parents and baby. The accommodation allowed each of us space and tranquillity to enjoy a fortnights holiday in splendid style in rural mid France. The facilities were first class and Anita and Alex afforded every comfort. They were very welcoming and on hand should we have needed anything. Broue is well situated for sightseeing. On days where we stayed around the house, we had everything we needed. The pool is family friendly and the area offers many walks and drives. Bordeaux, Bergerac and St Emilion are within easy reach. This was a first class choice for us.

Perfect family home for a holiday!

Our large family gathering of all ages enjoyed the splendid house in a beautiful setting. The pool which we used every day was a the right temperature and cleaned regularly. We chose to eat alfresco every night under the spectacular shooting stars. We will definitely rebook.

We bought the house in 2007 as our family home and have spent several years restoring many of the original features. Our family have now grown up and left home so we want to give other people the opportunity to stay in our beautiful home and enjoy a relaxing holiday in the quiet French countryside. We live in a small dwelling on the property, so we’re on hand should you need assistance during your stay and welcome families (although young children will need constant supervision in the garden and pool area). We have a small family dog so unfortunately we cannot accept pets.

What makes this property unique

The property benefits from large reception rooms that remain cool in the long hot summers. The third reception room is a great space for the children with books, games and dvd’s. The kitchen is equipped with granite worktops, high quality appliances and plenty of room for cooking with a large dining table for all our guests. French doors lead to the patio for barbeques and outdoor dining. English & French TV is available in the lounge, and there is wifi throughout the house.
