California is in a severe drought that’s the biggest in 1200 years. Please be conscious of water/energy conservation. Every household is required a mandatory 25% water usage reduction by the city.

Please have the bins out by the curbside every Thursday night (you will notice the neighbors do the same). The Gardener usually comes on Thursday mornings and takes out the trash.
Garbage is sorted in 3 categories:

2.Decomposable – leaves, food scrap (decomposable bio-bags are provided for your convenience under the kitchen sink) – green bin

Four adults plus a toddler stayed over three nights over the holiday period in 2016. Dalia kindly supplied a crib for the toddler, and we had all the amenities that we needed. The location is convenient to Culver City, which is where we were visiting relatives, so this was perfect for us. Dalia was a bit difficult to reach in terms of telling us how to get into the house (we got that the day of arrival, I would have preferred a day or two in advance). but was overall quite responsive. We would stay again!
The house is really cozy, the beds are comfy and the showers are great. We loved the privacy in the back yard and were out there every morning for coffee. We really appreciated Dahlia's communication throughout our stay for the little things that came up. Will definitely stay again!
We stayed at this lovely home for 3 nights in April while visiting relatives in the area. We had 6 people total. The property was as described and it was helpful that all the info was on the website. The place was roomy and clean with comfortable beds, a nice kitchen, and plenty of space for the kids to play. We cooked dinner one night and the kitchen had all the items we needed. It was easy to access the home and Dalia was quick to answer any questions. We drove to downtown LA for activities which took about 40 minutes (standard for the area) but there are plenty of things to do in downtown Culver City which is just a few minute away. We would recommend the home to anyone who needed a place to stay while in the area.
We stayed Halloween weekend because we had our home in Westchester fumigated.
The place was comfortable for four of us, and the kids went trick op treating down the festive street. The owner was attentive to any questions via text.
I only wished they had more than one flat screen in the home, which is equipped on with free Hula and Netflix. There are no standard channels, so my wife missed her Latin soap operas, and I missed a few sporting events such as the World Series. But we were busy enough to enjoy the central location, which is close to everything😃😃😃😃😃
I am very happy with our stay. We chose this location so we could have a central meeting point for my sisters wedding- It turned out to be a very large home with much room to spread out. Beautiful upgraded kitchen that we were able to use for our meals. The beds are high end and very comfortable, but the SHOWER is what brought it all together for a relaxing stay. The owners were very easy to work with and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone!
We spend close to a week in LA, originally I booked three hotel rooms near the city, but my wife found this Home Away house for the week, which turned nicer than the internet photo listings.
The owner met us the first day, gave us directions and even offered to pick up supplies as we were not sure where everything is.
This was very pleasant place to stay while visiting LA, we have privacy, quiet neighbors, and we were close to everything by the LA Standards. It was the first trip for my two sons and nephew to the LA area, the boys loved the fact that they can get to the beach under $10 with Uber, got to downtown LA, ML ballparks, good restaurants nearby, and get to sleep in everyday.
The only down side is that the check-out was for 9 am, which was difficult for the boys, but the landlord was flexible and accommodating. We will definitely look up the availability of this house next time we visit LA Thanks. L.T.
