2 bedroom, 2 bath condo in the heart of the french quarter

Newly renovated property in the heart of the French Quarter within walking distance of great attractions like The House of Blues; world famous restaurants such as NOLA, Galatoire's, Arnaud's and more; also only a few blocks from Bourbon Street and the Casino. One block away is a local watering hole by the name of the Chart Room Bar at 300 Chartres. Meet the locals or just people watch. Sobou (South of Bourbon) Bar and Restaurant is great for dinner or if you want drinks at a more upscale location. Walk to Central Grocery for a Muffaletta, or to Cafe du Monde for cafe' au lait and beignets. Frenchman St. at the back of the Quarter has great local entertainment including Snug Harbor for dinner and jazz depending on who's playing.

The neighborhood has many restaurants and bars ranging from formal to casual.

Come for Mardi Gras, or other great events like French Quarter Fest, Jazz Fest, Satchmo Fest and you'll be within walking distance to enjoy whatever you please!

There is always something going on in town and this property gives you to opportunity to enjoy anything and everything the Big Easy has to offer!

The building is close to the Canal Streetcar line (one block off the line) so it's a breeze to make it Uptown or to MidCity to do cemetery tours or enjoy the restaurants/bars that the locals enjoy.

About Mike

Born and reared in New Orleans. Property is basically family owned and operated. We completely refurbished and put back into commerce a property that was neglected for many years. The 300 block of Decatur St where the property is located has undergone major reconstruction over the last 3 years. We are in the process of renovating other properties in the french quarter. We are proud to contribute to the French Quarter's improvement.

C'est Bon!!!!

We usually stay in a hotel when visiting NOLA, but this time I brought my teenage sons and one adult son, and we wanted a bit more room to spread out and relax (and for them to play xbox). We had a wonderful stay at Mike's condo - it is lovely, very well appointed, and located close to almost everything you could need or want within walking distance. I parked my vehicle in the Park First garage literally just steps around the corner on Bienville next to Mr. Ed's Oyster Bar (which is a must-visit), and never took it back out while we were there; it cost me $180 for 3.5 days of 24 hour parking, but it is covered/enclosed, locked up at night, and I didn't want to have to worry about my vehicle. We did Uber to the Audubon Zoo one day, and it was only around $20. There is a coffee shop (Envie Espresso Bar and Café) directly across the street, but Mike left some Community Coffee (made in LA) along with a lot of other welcome treats which was greatly appreciated! Of course we visited Jackson Square, the St. Louis Cathedral, Café duMonde, and the French Market, which were a nice walk down Decatur Street. I would also recommend the Steamboat Natchez (a short walk from the condo) - we did the lunch buffet cruise and the food was good and plentiful. (Have a Mojito!) A bit further away but still a reasonable walk is Mulate's authentic cajun restaurant - the original is in Breaux Bridge LA - the food and music are outstanding! Also recommend breakfast at Johnny's Po Boy's on St. Louis Street...and they deliver!! One more MUST visit is Oceana Grill on Conti Street...we ate there twice it was so good! Their Bloody Mary is amazing. Abita Amber on tap almost everywhere...I was in heaven. I mean, NOLA is mostly all about food and beverage, right?!

I really liked having the coded entry to both the condo lobby and the condo itself, we felt safe and didn't have to worry about keeping up with keys; my 17 y/o twins could come and go as they pleased when they were tired of shopping with Mom in the Quarter. Overall, a great experience!!

The Place to Stay!

Beautiful condo in a great location two streets over from Bourbon Street, close to street car stops and within walking distance of sights to see and many restaurants. My husband and son loved looking out the living room windows at the street action. We would definitely choose to stay here again and have already recommended this condo to our neighbors. The owner was quick to respond to our inquiries before and during our stay. Thank you for sharing your beautiful place.

Spectacular

Stayed for Jazz Fest 2016 for one week. The owner was flexible and allowed us early check in. The unit is clean, just a nice as it is in the pictures on the website, and right in the middle of the French Quarter. It easily accommodated our 5 person party. When I return to New Orleans I intend to use this unit. I will not look elsewhere.

Fantastic location with all the comforts of home

This immaculate and tastefully decorated condo has a superb location - it's within walking distance of Café du Monde, the Aquarium, French Quarter restaurants, bistros, and shops and Bourbon Street (if you must go) but is a quiet oasis away from the late night bar noise and commotion. A short walk brings you to the cable car lines (a bargain!) to access to the Garden District or to venture further afield. A great coffee shop is located directly across the street. This bright high ceilinged condo has large windows and is well stocked and appointed; with comfy beds, plenty of room for relaxing or cooking a light meal, and the ample bathrooms have tiled showers and plush towels. A basket of snacks and wine greeted us upon our arrival, a thoughtful touch after a long day of travel. The washer/ drier is an added bonus. Convenient touchpad entry - no need to cart around or worry about losing keys. Recommend this condo as your home away from home for your visit to New Orleans - you won't be disappointed!

Best vacation rental ever!

We loved our stay in the French quarter. The location couldn't be beat. It was just a few blocks from Bourbon Street, but in a part of the town that actually quiets down at night. The condo was very spacious. We loved having two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There were all the amenities that you could think of. We really didn't want to leave. :)

Perfect Condo in Perfect Location!

The location of this Condo is perfect. A couple blocks from Bourbon, a couple blocks from Canal, you really can't beat it. The condo was in immaculate condition. Everything was clean and the place is fully stocked with pretty much everything you need. Mike is super accommodating and if you reach out to him for something he will respond immediately and make sure everything is taken care of. I will definitely be using this condo next time I stay in New Orleans and will highly recommend to all family and friends.
