Not as advertised. Disappointing.

  • 1 of 5

We as a family have rented through VRBO many times. This was by far the most disappointing of the places we have ever rented. It was much farther from Sedona than we had expected. The separation of spaces was configured very oddly. And having to go outside to go to the bathroom??? A bit inconvenient in the middle of the night, especially when the outside light did not work downstairs. We never did figure out how to turn on the shower in the outside bathroom, and there were no directions anywhere. Furthermore, and most disturbing, was the many emails from the owner while we were staying there--with "reminders" of what not to do in the house. It felt a bit like harassment, especially since we have always been exemplary renters, and follow all rules, leaving the property in the same (or better!) shape than when we arrived.

Owner's Response: Our lovely, exceptionally clean and comfortable *View* home has been reviewed many times and our thoughtful VRBO guests have always been pleased with both our communications and our beautiful home. We are saddened to have hosted unhappy guests. Looking forward to continuing our great record of happy, thoughtful, honest and respectful VRBO guests :-)

Great Accommodations

  • 5 of 5

We were a party of 8 staying 4 nights. We found the accommodations to be everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Linda was extremely responsive with my questions. It is about 30 minutes to downtown Sedona. Our only comment is to be aware that the downstairs bedroom is only accessible from the outside. The booking info states that but I couldn't quite visualize it. Great base for exploring the area and going back for a quiet respite with beautiful views.

The place was a short drive from Sedona and a mid way point between Phoenix and The Grand Canyon. Great for a small couple of friends or a family
