It is always a beautiful time of year to visit Seabrook Island! Come and enjoy what we think of as a little slice of heaven. A perfect place to unwind and relax - regardless of the season. The cottage has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, a beautifully decorated sun room which has been enclosed with glass. Flat screen televisions in living room and Master Cable and high speed internet. The cottage sleeps 6 people. Nicely furnished and very comfortable. The dining room table can seat 6 with room for growth. The enclosed sun room has a glass covered table to accommodate 4 people, a sofa, a rocker and comfy chairs to relax in while catching up with favorite book, watch a great movie or a perfect spot for the kids to play after a long day at the beach - an array of board games , and/or their favorite Wii or Xbox game.
Living in Charleston allows us to be available to assist our guests in any way. So many things to do...our beautiful beaches, swimming, boogie boarding, fishing, crabbing, long bike rides, kayaking, nature walks, access to the Lake House which has an outdoor pool, an indoor pool, a top of the line fitness center and the Community Pool. Late afternoon walks at North Beach - and if you venture all the way to inlet - you may be lucky enough to see the dolphin and capture them strand feeding - it is truly unlike anything you have ever seen. Wild life sightings include but not limited to bob cats, fox, wild turkey's deer prancing around the island, needless to mention alligators, dolphins, sting rays, crabs - please be careful. The Equestrian center is located to the left as you enter onto the island and is always a fun place to visit.
Endless opportunities on beautiful Seabrook Island and just 27 miles South of Historic Charleston. Some many great restaurants located down town. Fall House Tours begin the beginning of October - Wild Life Expo is hosted in Charleston normally the 2nd week of February - Spring Garden and House Tours begin the middle of March, the Spoleto Festival begins the 3rd week of May and continues until the second week of June - Tour Fort Sumter, the Yorktown Aircraft Carrier, Boone Hall Plantation, Middleton Plantation, Magnolia Plantation, Tanger Outlet Mall, Market Street, Rainbow Row, Battery Park, Waterfront Park, Marion Square needless to mention all of the golf possibilities.
Shops, a Spa and an array of restaurants located at Bohicket Marina. Fresh Fields has The Village Market by Harris Teeter, a pharmacy and several shops and restaurants located just blocks outside the gate. Fresh Fields also features a monthly event calendar - very family oriented - movie nights, farmers market, live entertainment - so much fun.
The annual Billfish Tournament takes place at Bohicket Marina in early June - come and see where the boats meet in the evening for weigh in. Live music on weekends - beautiful sunsets.
The bike path will take you to from Seabrook Island to Bohicket Marina, Fresh Fields - then onto Kiawah if you are feeling adventurous. Bike rentals available and convenient - a great way to see the island - delivery and pick up at cottage, or electric cars are another fun option to scoot around the area - Lightning Bugz is a great source.
