The countryside is accessible from your door and is great for walks and cycling. Gem of a Property
Very comfortable and well equipped cottage, ideally situated to explore Hereford and the surrounding countryside. We received a very warm welcome and Pat and Gill had left a delicious cream tea of scones, cream and the most delicious homemade plum jam. We will definitely recommend Symond’s Cottage to friends and we would love to stay in this lovely property again.
Perfect spot and a perfect retreat
Litmarsh Farm is the most peaceful cottage we have ever stayed in. We thought that where WE lived was quiet! Although there is another cottage and the owner's cottage, we felt completely alone. The bedrooms were spacious and beds were super comfy. Added to this, the modern bathroom had a great shower with hot water all the time.
The Bodenham area is stunning and although we didn't visit any of the local eateries, we did walk along the many public footpaths - crossing fields and along the lake. Litmarsh is also in easy reach of Hereford and a few National Trust properties - the bus to Hereford stopping very near the cottage.
A lovely place to relax and recharge the batteries.
Thank you Pat and Gill for your hospitality and ensuring the cottage was spotlessly clean for our arrival - even the cream tea with homemade plum jam - yum!
Inside the property was everything we needed.
We stayed for a week in this wonderful cottage. Everything was great. there were even buns with clotted cream for us, when we arrived. Thank you so much for a holiday full of good memories. We could love to come back.
Thank you for your lovely review, we are glad you had a nice stay and enjoyed the cottage and Herefordshire
