Besides having all modern amenities and very comfortably furnished, the property comes with its own private pool and mature gardens, a rare combination in a holiday villa.

At the end of the gardens a BBQ area has been set up complete with fridge and toilette facilities. The ground floor is totally taken up as a living space with a sizable combined living/dining and kitchen area as well as a separate living room. Entertainment equipment includes DVD, wifi and two Tv one in each living area. The whole gives onto the pool and garden area creating a relaxed and cosy ambiance throughout the year.

The sleeping arrangements are on two floors and cater for at least 8 adults; a master bedroom, with unobstructed sea and country views, complete with ensuite facilities and a sofa bed ideal for small children, and two twin bedrooms serviced by an adjacent shared bathroom.

An uncommon feature of the house is a stone spiral staircase leading to a double bedroom with an ensuite twin jet family shower. This bedroom enjoys private terraces all round with spectacular surrounding views.

The bedrooms are equipped with AC units that are available with an electronic coin system (€1 & €2 coins) installed at property with a screen to display the credit remaining, each AC unit consumes around € 2 per night.

Maid service is included when you book for 7 nights or more.

Qala is the farthest village from Gozo's capital, Victoria, it is the closest to the rest of the Maltese archipelago, and the rocky hillsides of Qala enjoy an unobstructed view of the islands of Malta and Comino. Breathtaking scenes can be enjoyed, among other places, from the Qala Belvedere. Closest restaurant/s are found in Qala square.

For just €29.50 per party, breakage waiver covers you for accidental damage of loss of equipment occurring in or your Baron Holiday Homes accommodation, so you can relax and enjoy your holiday. This non-refundable fee will cover for accidental damage up to €300.


Pay a fully refundable security deposit of €400 at check-in by a valid Visa or Master Card to cover any damage to your Baron Holiday Home and/or its contents. Bank will only release this amount 28 days from transaction date.

Good base for our holiday

We've been to Qala before so knew what to expect from this very low-key location. The property is roomy and spacious and was perfect for 4 adults for the week. Adding kids into the two twin bedrooms would not be a problem either. The pool isn't massive but good enough for a quick plunge.

Kitchen and living areas are great although one of the sofas has begun to look tired. This is also the case in the double bedroom at the top of the very narrow stone staircase. The bed up there needs replacing - it looks very tatty. Be aware that there are no blinds up there either, just some gauze-type curtains, although the double shower is a bonus.

The master bedroom is very nice.

Another addition is a table tennis table in the garage which got a surprising amount of use!

I'd recommend the property as it suited us perfectly but it does have minor limitations which some may find more of an issue.

Comfort and style.

Hanini exceeded all expectations. The villa is spacious, light, tastefully decorated and well equipped. We loved the open-plan kitchen/diner/living room which opens onto the patio and pool. The patio provides ample space for alfresco dining and for 4 sun loungers and a parasol. The pool itself is compact but is large enough for swimming. The garden beneath the raised deck is an unexpected bonus and features a brick bar b q and the option of dining in the shade of a mature olive tree. The garden is well maintained, with trees, shrubs and flowers. The raised deck offers views of the sea on one side and of the village of Nadur on the other. As we were in residence at the time of Nadur's summer festival, we were treated to spectacular displays of fireworks every evening. The interior of the property is finished to the same high standard as the outside. The kitchen is well equipped, the furnishings are comfortable and stylish, and the ceiling fans and air conditioning units maintain a cool, airy ambience even on the hottest days. The two double bedrooms have their own en suites, while the two twin bedrooms share a family bathroom. You have the choice of showers or a bath. The double bedrooms lead onto spacious balconies. Finally, Hanini is superbly located on the edge of the village but within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and bars. We spent a wonderful week there and would recommend it without reservation.

We loved the location. Quite country life.

Location and village was a great plus. Quite easy walk to the

village in Qala. The villa was somewhat comfortable. The

kitchen was not. Very odd setup. Glasses and cups were on

the other side of the living room. Dishes were on the backside of the sink.

We had a problem with a bathroom door and they came twice to fix it.

Lots of stairs. Luckily we were all young enough to manage them.

It was still our favorite place of our three week vacation.

Wir waren 6 Erwachsene und 1 Kleinkind. Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war super und problemlos. Das Haus ist super schön, sauber und ruhig gelegen. Man kann problemlos an der Strasse parken. Wenn etwas kaputt ist, wird es sofort reserviert, wenn man es meldet. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort hingehen. Einfach super.
