Idyllic Dorset farmhouse

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved Lower Atrim Farm! It's a beautiful building, full of character and very welcoming,we felt comfortable and completely at home right from the start. It was extremely well equipped,we didn't once need anything which wasn't already provided. The garden was wonderful for my grandchildren, they played outside all the time and we felt confident that they were in a safe environment. It was great fun in the evening to all gather round the fire pit and toast marshmallows The dressing up chest, what can I say?!! The children loved it,the rocking horse and the play room itself, fantastic! Do you get the impression we liked it?!! We certainly did and look forward to visiting again.

Pretty as a picture cottage

  • 4 of 5

We stayed at the beginning of August for a week for my Mum's 70th Birthday, we were a party of 11 including 3 children.

The cottage was well equipped with plenty of space and very comfortable. We had lovely weather and spent many hours in the lovely garden, having BBQs and even toasting marshmallows over the fire pit, the trampoline was a big hit with the kids too.

The cottage was in a great location, lovely and quite, but not far from beaches too.

We had a fantastic time and would defiantly recommend a stay here.

peaceful and relaxing holiday

  • 5 of 5

We were warmly welcomed and found the property very comfortable and well appointed. The atmosphere was family friendly and the garden a delight for the grandchildren (and a respite for the more ancient). Plenty of places round and about to visit.

For those travelling from London or other points East those who used the A303 to Crewkerne and then south had a better journey than those using the M3 M27 A31 A35 route - which looks on the map more tempting.

A lovely, comfortable home in a beautiful, peaceful setting.

  • 5 of 5

The welcome was warm and personal. We had plenty of space for a large extended family to enjoy, including the fabulous garden with trampoline for little ones, table tennis and we took our own croquet set for some ferocious games on the lawn.

Owner's Response: I'm delighted you had a nice time and weren't we lucky with the weather. The garden, trampoline and table-tennis have been really popular this year and we've spotted some amazing butterflies. I hope we see you in Dorset again some time in the future.
