The Regalado Lodge is truly incomparable at the rents offered !
I am a 50's child so at 64 finding a need to down size. My 4 children are in their 30's and not quite ready to enjoy taking some of Dad's 'treasures'. So I decided to rent my home furnished with VRBO and move us to a 2 Bedroom,2 bath Condo. Easier to care for and it gives us a chance to really retire
Roy A. Nourse or Jose Regalado purchased this house in 2007
I bought this property for its rural location, yet close to everything. I was wowed by the echo when I first viewed the home. It was the perfect floor plan ! I never found a home like this one.
I really enjoy total security in this gated community. During the mday we don't even bother to lock the doors.
Very home welcomeing. We can't wait to stay there again. Beautiful home and a great location. Beautiful view of the mountains. Over all a wonderful stay,
This is our 2nd year back to the Regalado Lodge and we have already booked the house for next year. My friends and I love coming to Spring Training and this is a spacious clean house with a huge fully stocked kitchen, just perfect for our group of 4-6 guys. I highly recommend renting this house, Jose and Roy are great at accommodating you with whatever your needs may be.
Enjoyed stay at Regalado Lodge. Coffee and dinner outside looking at the beautiful South Mts. We were here baseball spring training fields were 20 to 40 minutes away. Shopping was also close by. Great house for entertaining. Hope to return next year.
We has a great stay at the Regalado Lodge. It is a beautiful home with all the needs that our team needed. We were allowed to move in early and Roy, the owner responded immediately to any questions I had. If we return next year, this will be my first choice for a stay. We were especially pleased with the location which was near a mall that provided eating places, groceries, and most of all a place for our team to golf. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.
We gave this property a 2 star rating for many reasons. The home was at one time was no doubt very nice. Unfortunately it has fallen into disrepair with minimal maintenance/cleaning for what appears to be quite some time. When you see "This owner doesn't offer online booking through VRBO's checkout. You won't be eligible for our Book with Confidence Guarantee.'' BEWARE! Upon arrival, the kitchen was filthy, incl dirty counters, dishes, floors, fridge, toaster, microwave, oven & sink with food debris and salmon still in the strainer.. The drawers were dirty and had dead bugs, as well as live crickets under the sink. The cabinet floor had collapsed from leaks. The floor had not been swept, area rugs not vacuumed, a fish tank in the kitchen that was disgusting & neglected - coated with algae and containing live fish, a broken filter, and a jar of fish food implying we were supposed to take care of it. Upon conducting a quick inspection we found pet stains on the carpet in the billiard room, dirty counters in the bathrooms, and one bathroom had so much long black hair on the floor and rugs it stuck to your shoes. The toilets had not been cleaned. The master bathroom shower head had a big leak and we could not get it stopped. We used a different shower at the other end of the house. Garage was cluttered, dirty & smelled horrible, with trash in garbage cans and many dirty rugs filling a utility sink. I called the owner and was told the housekeeper had quit the night before & offered to send a housekeeper over which we declined - who wants to be inconvenienced the day you check in with the expectation it was to have been move-in ready! We chose to clean it ourselves as we had no other options for living arrangements, with no choice but to stay on short notice. We had to go buy cleaning supplies and toilet paper because there was none. The odd thing was there were brand new towels in every bathroom with the plastic tags still on. The beds were made but I didn't trust that the sheets were clean. The back yard was full of weeds. Dirty grill with 2 whole salmon skins inside, dirty crumpled rugs laying around, and trash cans overturned. The front outdoor patio spaces were filthy with leaves debris dust and dirt. I talked to the owner several times and was given mostly excuses. The owner relies on his partner to take care of the house and stated he had not been in the house in 2 years. We left it in better condition than we found it.
This house is a great value! Also an excellent location for visiting my family in Laveen. The dining room table seated 12 of us around a beautiful table in a generous space. Speaking of space, there is lots of it as we were 6 adults and 2 teenagers sharing the house and we all had our own space. I will rent this home again.
The lodge is central to all Phoenix and Scottsdale activities. With easy freeway access, you can reach any activity in 30 minutes or less.
