About Paola Andreotti
I started up in the year 2000. B&B were very few and it started up well. At that time I did not have the possibility of travelling often and I really appreciated the possibility of hosting people from all over the world in my B&B. We did not increase the size of the B&B. We kept it small not to betray the spirit of B&B tradition, hosting guests from the farthest countries to the nearest villages as well as their friends, since word of mouth spread rapidly, sharing with them my love for foreign languages and our knowledg of the city and its rich territory.
Why Paola Andreotti chose Galluzzo
It is an ancient family mansion, that developed starting form 1400 up todate. The Art Nouveau frescoes that decorate one of the bedroom and the porch date back to the beginning of the 1900. Furniture is mostly antique. I love its "vintage" atmosphere, the old garden/courtyard paved in cotto tiles, the romantic garden used for breakfast, reading sitting on the bench under the huge wysteria, the surrounding Tuscan coutryside and the couple of swallows that have their nest just uder the porch...
What makes this Bed And Breakfast unique
Romantic apartment at only 5 minutes (bus) from the tramway stop and 20 min from the historical center ( S. Maria Novella railway station). City center can be reached by public means of transport (bus + tramway), but at the same time you are nestled in the Tuscan countryside. We are really close to the city center, but you have the advantages of a coutryside villa of the 1800 (quiet, no noise, apart from the birds that wake you up in the morning, pure air, free parking), but you're not isolated since the village is inhabited by several families and there is a renowned and good restaurant at 1000 feet distance.

Paola and her husband are very hospitable and kind.
Wonderful people, nice and interesting to host. I'd love to have them again as our guests!
Paola and Alexandro were the best hosts ever, from explaining what is a must see, dropping us off and the best breakfast outside in the courtyard. Their Manor House is beautiful. Thank you. Xx
Hi Charlotte, nice to hear from you and I'm happy you have a sweet memory of our place. We'll be glad to host you and you friends whenever you'll visit us. Just keep in touch Paola
Live like an Italian!
If you’re looking for an out of the way B&B this is it. Tucked in a hidden neighborhood alcove Paola welcomes you into the beautiful courtyard. Luckily a three star Michlein restaurant is around the corner. You must have a car to go any where else. Host is gracious. Shampoo tv and air conditioning would have helped in this hottest European summer. Have an adventurist spirit traveling to Florence.
Shampoo is available upon request. For moving by car my husband provides transportation to and from the tramway stop nearby. We hope that the bus will be restored but we do not know when it will be made available.
Amazing stay and a even more amazing host!
My wife and I rented this beautiful B&B for 4 night and Paola and her husband were amazing from the beginning! On our arrival, we were greeted with open arms and Prosecco that was very good. Every morning, Paola would make us a very delicious breakfast and her husband even bought us pastries from the best place in Florence one morning (best I have ever had). The B&B was VERY clean with a beautiful garden and only a short ten minute ride to the Boboli gardens and downtown Florence. Paola offered to drive us to Florence on multiple occasions which was very nice and convenient. On the last night, we had some local dishes that was prepared by Paola and sat and talked over a bottle of wine for hours with her and her husband. At the end of the trip we definitely felt like we made some new friends and can’t wait to come back and see them again.
I was pleasantly surprised to view your appreciation this morning. I'm so happy,. We had lots of foreign guests this year but I do remember you well, both of you. Thank you for all the kind things you said about us! We just tried to make you feel at home. I'll be happy to host you and your friends if you'll have a chance to visit Florece agains again Arrivederci .....
A lovely restored building, friendly host
Paola was very welcoming and had a huge knowledge of the city and was very helpful and happy to share her knowledge
A lovely time
We stayed with Paola and her husband for 2 nights, making a last minute reservation. They were very welcoming - Paola made 2 delicious breakfasts which we enjoyed on their outdoor patio. The home has an interesting history, having originally been a ceramics factory and their pride in their home is apparent. Paola’s husband took us into Florence to a taxi stand the morning we left, which was very nice of him.
I'm glad you appreciated our hospitality and the closeness to the city as well as the history of our house. I'm looking forward to hosting you/family/ friends again and wish you a Merry Christmas that is not so far ahead...Paola
