A well appointed apartment in an amazing location, overlooking the bay and close to great beaches
We had a wonderful two weeks in this apartment. The photos of the apartment give an accurate representation of it. It takes up the whole top floor of the building, is well appointed and situated on the water front with lovely views across the bay from the two balconies. The owners were extremely kind and helpful and cleaned the apartment and changed sheets and towels every few days.
The beaches in Pedi village are small, but the water is clear. Two larger beaches are within walking distance: Agia Marina and Agios Nikolaos. There are also frequent taxi boats to both of them if the 25 minute walk is too much. Both beaches have incredibly clear water and are great for snorkelling. There are sun beds for hire and tavernas selling drinks and lunch, but even in August they were not as busy as beaches on Rhodes tend to be. We are a family of 4 with kids aged 11 and 8 and they loved the beaches and could comfortably manage the walk to Agia Marina and Agios Nikolaos.
Pedi is a small and quiet village with fishermen working on their nets and a small boat building yard. There are two tavernas and a two supermarkets. Of the two tavernas, the nearest one is 5 minutes walk from the apartment and was friendly and informal with a mix of locals and tourists eating there. The other one was slightly more up-market and seemed to be aimed more at the many yachts that moor in the bay.
A bus goes back and forth to the main port (Yialos) regularly all day and the journey takes about 15 minutes. It runs until midnight so its possible to go over to Yialos in the evening for a meal. Yialos is stunning and we spent several afternoons and evenings there. There are lots of tavernas and restaurants, but no nightclubs, so its still relatively quiet compared to, say, Rhodes.
We had a great time at this apartment and would wholeheartedly recommend it.
In this area ( Pedi ) near to our apartment - Anoi there are two taxi boats that go to other beaches such as Ag. Nikolaos, Ag Marina, Ag Georgio, Nanou.
The customers can pay me when them arrive at the apartment. (This can be done upon your request )
