We enjoy sharing the peace & tranquility of this space. Visitors seem to welcome and embrace this unique space, reconnecting to nature, refreshing Spirit. As our grown children refer to me as the Airy Fairy portion of their make up, I believe in the powerful connection, in the energy, and healing properties of the earth and beings. Together Ken and I create functional spaces that remind you of spirit and imagination. Stay with us to plant your feet on the ground, your head in the sky & your heart everywhere.
Jill Bachmann purchased this cabin in 2012
Our property is over 3 acres, on a secluded peninsula with a variety of mature, beautiful trees, plants and many wonderful creatures.
As you walk about on the property you will notice many Fairy houses, inspirational sayings and gardens.
Tiny House Living has become a new craze. Our cabin lets you experience what everyone is talking about. Tucked away on our property, you feel totally secluded, the train whistle reminds you of a time passed. Birds, bunnies, squirrels, deer, fox, raccoons, turtles and the coyotes singing in the distance allows you to feel far away. The ability to walk .2 of a mile to restaurants, supplies, a gas station, deli, a dollar store, craft mall, makes your stay more enjoyable. Sit in the quiet or explore the opportunities Marquette County and surrounding counties have to offer. Enjoy, relax, refresh at the Nature Nook.
We loved our time in the Nature Nook! Jill was accommodating to our changing itinerary and even made us delicious cookies which we enjoyed for breakfast! We wished the living space had a couch or that a TV was located in the bedroom - the two chairs were comfortable but not ideal for settling down for a movie. The cabin was small, but in a perfectly cozy way. I know some found the shower too small in the reviews but we adored it! Creative use of the space. You can tell Jill truly pays attention to details and is passionate about sharing her retreat with others!
The cabin was perfectly clean and everything needed was supplied. This place was simply perfect.
The cabin is cute It's more like a play house rather than a comfortable functional place to stay for A weekend or even a night
The shower is so small if you are more than 130 ponds good luck fitting into it
There is no amminties
No soup for the shower and a very small shampoo for two that does not get replace next time
No microwave no kettle ( no stove to make it on 😳
No wine glasses no glasses
They mention fire place
But all it is a space heater with a faux front with a photo of a fire ( who wants to rent a log cabin with a no actual fire place )
If you want to bring your daughter for a play house weekend with her friend
This is a place
If you are looking for a romantic weekend and you are bigger than a 5,10 and 120 pounds look else where
On the positive side and the reason this place got 3 star is the owner is Jill and a sweet lady
And always a phone call away and the grounds of the place is covered with woods and a nice lake
You can sit and relax
This a little treasure! We have rented many places throughout Wisconsin and Michigan. Always different. I never thought I would want to go back to one. Except this gem. Very clean, intimate and beautiful scenery. I would like to spend most of my weekends at this Nature nook
Nature Nook is the perfect place for a quiet getaway for anyone who appreciates simplicity and nature. The owners pay great attention to detail and are accessible if anything is needed but are otherwise absent. Their little cabin is the perfect size for two and is very clean and comfortable. We tried it out for a New Years retreat from reality and it exceeded all of our expectations. Thank you Jill, we very much intend to return in the future!
Upon arrival, Jill met us and showed us around the cabin and made us feel welcomed! We enjoyed our time at the cabin.. relaxed, enjoyed the fireplace and we were able to unwind! Beautiful property and close to touristy things! Thanks!
