An exceptional location, it is south facing with an eye to the Valmorel's ski runs, peaceful, and spacious. Its layout shows off a rustic style with all mod cons. It is close to the ski lifts,100 metres from the house, you can buy ski passes and hire ski gear at 'Les Clarines'. You can phone them. They accept traveller's checks. It is very quiet and the exterior staircase leads upstairs. The first photos show the brand new, third floor. It is comfortable and can be independent. The second floor has two bedrooms and a bathroom with Scathe first floor offers a bedroom, a shower room with WC, and a dining room for 10 with a kitchen area. If you want to reach the centre of Valmorel or the ski school, there is a free shuttle bus. It leaves every half an hour and the stop is near the chalet. In season, there is an ESF ski school with private and shared courses for children and adults. It is close to the chalet and the ski lift.
Having worked for 47 years, skiing and sailing are my two sports. Let’s not forget to mention the main attraction. The maintenance and modifications made to my holiday rentals have, after a quick purchase in Valmorel, made it a real joy!
Henri Claude purchased this chalet in 1994
I enjoy several weeks in season with my friends and am always looking to improve the comfort in the house. The town has added plenty of benefits for holidaymakers.
The view, south orientation, peace and quiet without being isolated, and the surrounding life combine with the amenities, the nearby ski runs, and free shuttle buses to the shops and the ski school. Grand Domaine has beautiful ski slopes with 100 km of runs and the places to have lunch in the sunshine.
Chalet sympathique et spacieux. A 5 min en navette du centre de Valmorel. Bonne connection avec le domaine avec une remontée mécanique à 100 m du Chalet. Le seul bémol est qu'il n'y ait qu'un escalier exterieur.
By motorway, from Lyon, Chambery, Albertville, Aiguieblancheel head straight to Valmorel. Then, after 12 km of mountain road, "Le Pré" is 50 metres farther . You can park in the parking spaces to the right. You will be in front of the chalet.
Amidst the forest, you can visit 'L'Aigle Blanc' restaurant, 2 km away. It has delicious food. You can reserve by phone. On the slopes, nestled in the Madeleine mountain pass, I highly recommend 'La Banquise' restaurant. You can reserve by telephone. The terrace at Chalet de Valmorel is perfect for relaxing on a deck chair in the sunshine. It is 20 metres from the house. Non-skiers can enjoy Club Med. It offers half days with meals and leisure activities.
