POORLY MAINTAINED PROPERTY & TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Our experience at this property was simply A NIGHTMARE!!! The property is poorly maintained and does not meet the minimum standards to live. Since our arrival, we had all sorts of issues that made our stay a most unbearable one: photoshopped pictures of the property that do not reflect the reality of the property; the master bathroom was infested with cockroaches and frogs (every night, we had to get rid of several frogs and cockroaches!); multiple sinks that did not drain; the A/C unit in the master bedroom leaked; the A/C unit in the bedroom upstairs did not work; the shower head fell off in the middle of the night while we were asleep; when we checked in there was a basket with some broken running shoes and cigarette butts carelessly left inside the master bedroom; upon checking in there were full trash bags left that were never removed during our entire stay; the gardener walked inside the property on a different day we had agreed upon without our permission and without any previous notice from the owner, as we were coming out of the shower; the pool turned green because the pool guy did not show up once a week as we had agreed with the owner; the septic tank flooded all over the bathroom and living room floors, making not only the smell in the house terrible, but also unsanitary, especially for our 3-year old son. After two days of having feces all over the floor, and the owner not taking care of it, we decided to leave the property TWO WEEKS BEFORE OUR CHECK OUT DATE! We contacted Homeaway, and sent them pictures of the state of the property. They couldn’t believe it! (These photos are available for anyone would like to see them.) We tried solving this issue with the owner in an amicable manner on multiple occasions. We offered her to pay for the days we had stayed at the property and asked her for a refund for the remaining of our stay, so we could find another property. Each time, THE OWNER ARROGANTLY REFUSED!!! WE WOULD NOT RECOMMEND STAYING AT THIS PROPERTY! The owner's arrogance and subpar customer service leave much to be desired.
