Renowned as one of the most prestigious neighbourhoods of Tavira, Quinta do Perogil is a private residential area with plenty of mature trees and greenery.
Casa Iberia is a secured property, gated and fenced with an entry phone. Guests have private use of the lawn gardens, the barbeque area with seating, beautiful plunge pool and ample terraces, which all make it very tempting to stay ‘home’ all day at the villa!

Casa Iberia has a large roof terrace on the second floor commanding views south out to the lagoons and coast of the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve and north extending over the rolling hinterland.
Casa Iberia is a bespoke villa with a beautiful slate entrance hall and circular staircase. Every consideration has been made in the design and execution of this beautiful family home.
The lounge, which has full length windows and comfortable, stylish furnishings leads off the entrance hall and flows into a purpose-built dining area. The fully equipped modern kitchen has an induction hob, a double fridge/freezer, and patio door access onto the barbecue terrace.
On the other side of the hallway there is a double bedroom with fitted wardrobes and picture windows on to the pool area. Next to the double bedroom is a beautiful beige stone clad bathroom, a study, with sofa and books and a cloakroom.
The second floor comprises four more bedrooms; 2 double en suites and 2 single bedrooms.
The master bedroom has a connecting dressing room area with built in wardrobes and an ensuite bathroom with bath tub, double sink and shower.
Flowing from the circular open plan stairs, the spacious and light second floor overlooks the outdoor areas and gives access to the ample and very private roof terrace.
Both the interior and exterior have unlimited wifi access.
Teak sun loungers deck the terrace beside the pool and there is a large sun umbrella and five automated awnings, stone benches and seating for dining alfresco available by the pool.
The dimensions of the plunge pool are 8.25m x 2.60 m with steps leading into a shallow end of 0.80m and a deep end of 1.70m. This is a freshwater pool with cleaning system. The plunge pool is serviced twice weekly during summer and once weekly during the rest of the year by a competent and reliable professional. The pool can be lit at night.
This is a wonderful location for families. The grounds are fully fenced and gated and there is an alarmed security system.
There is a cot and high chair provided. Please let us know if you have any other requirements. There is one bedroom on the ground floor with an adjacent bathroom. The walk up hill from Tavira would perhaps be quite steep for infirm.
There are neighbouring detached villas within the neighbourhood, though the villa and grounds are not easily overlooked.
There is easy access by car, with private parking outside the villa and in the basement car park. By foot there is one A-road to cross and then a quiet country lane brings you into the old town of Tavira.
Being located within a hilltop residential neighbourhood, overlooking Tavira and depending on the direction of the wind, noise from the road or neighbours may be heard. This is not a rural location.
A variety of supermarkets are just a short car or taxi ride away, the nearest being within walking distance, (along a main road, without pavements.) Within Tavira numerous cafes and a good choice of restaurants offer an abundance of fresh and local cuisine and low key charismatic nightlife.
There is a boat service from the centre of Tavira to the beach island of Tavira and also further down river from Quatro Aguas. Barril beach and Manta Rota beach are approximately 10 minutes drive away.
There are excellent golf courses within 5 to 10 minutes drive from the accommodation. The closest are Benamor, Quinta da Ria and Quinta da Cima, Monte Rei.
Ashtrays are provided for smoking outside the property.
Due to the possibility of guests being allergic to animal hair, we would rather not allow pets.
Changeover day can be flexible, though we aim to keep bookings as close as possible. Departure is by 10am and arrival is from 2pm unless otherwise arranged.
All linen, bath towels and beach towels are supplied and we provide a once weekly linen and bathroom towel change including a clean of the bathrooms.
There will be some toilet paper and soap for arrivals and a hamper of beverages, with additional breakfast and snacks are provided for late arrivals.
Car rental is not necessary for staying at Casa Iberia as it is close to all amenities in Tavira, however, we recommend having ones own transport especially in the heat of summer…and for reaching all the beautiful and interesting places
Car rental, taxi transfers and bicycle hire can be organized with local reputable
firms in advance or by calling the local representative.
Guests will be met at the villa, or otherwise informed where to locate the key and visited soon after arrival. We ensure a prompt and competent service from a team of property managers, who can be contacted at anytime.
