My family rented this cabin for Christmas we were hoping for a white christmas which we got. The cabin was cozy and very comfortable. Everything we needed was in this cabin. Loved the location near the river was wonderful area for my dogs the owner was great with allowing my dogs many places don't but this owner was great my dogs loved all the snow as did my kids who sled all day on christmas. I will be renting this cabin again great location overall everything was perfect.
The cabin was small but very clean and the furniture, beds, etc. was all beautiful and new. The proximity to the water is amazing, it's a bit congested as far as how many homes are nearby, but we didn't have any issue for the first couple of days as no one else was there.
I hope to be back
My wife book this cabin for a quick weekend away with our 2 yr old son. Upon our arrival, we were hit with a stench from the kitchen. We found garbage cans half full, a layer of dead bugs on cooking equipment and an inch of mold growing in the remnants of a coffee pot. Needless to say, we spent our quick trip cleaning. Owner lives In a different state and was not responsive. Like a flat rock, you're better off skipping it.
We loved spending one weekend in July at this sweet cabin on the creek. It was super comfortable inside with everything we needed. We cooked, barbecued, played in the creek, relaxed and enjoyed the cool evenings and mornings. We look forward to coming back.
I loved sitting on the back deck. Although the table really could have used an umbrella as it was quite warm the first of July. The cabin is the perfect size and very comfortable. The owner is friendly and helpful.
