Nice to get out of the city but a hassle

  • 1 of 5

When arriving at the property we could not get in because the incorrect lock box code was provided. After going down the mountain to get reseption to contact the property owner she gave us three to try. We finally got in. When in, there were two space heaters that barely let out heat while we were trying to get the fireplace working. That was an event... I have super bad allergies and my husband has a lung condition from his service overseas. When starting the fire, it takes a while for the flute to start working. It completely smoked both of us out of the cabin.

The location of the cabin is absolutely amazing. It is very peaceful, especially with the river running in the back. It was very quiet the whole time we were there but the added on stress/work will not be worth another stay

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your response. I am sorry you had breathing issues. Sounds like we need more space heaters for people that have allergies. Thank you and your husband for his service.

Perfect

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was small but very clean and the furniture, beds, etc. was all beautiful and new. The proximity to the water is amazing, it's a bit congested as far as how many homes are nearby, but we didn't have any issue for the first couple of days as no one else was there.

I hope to be back

Disgusting

  • 1 of 5

My wife book this cabin for a quick weekend away with our 2 yr old son. Upon our arrival, we were hit with a stench from the kitchen. We found garbage cans half full, a layer of dead bugs on cooking equipment and an inch of mold growing in the remnants of a coffee pot. Needless to say, we spent our quick trip cleaning. Owner lives In a different state and was not responsive. Like a flat rock, you're better off skipping it.

Sweetest little cabin in the pines!

  • 4 of 5

We loved spending one weekend in July at this sweet cabin on the creek. It was super comfortable inside with everything we needed. We cooked, barbecued, played in the creek, relaxed and enjoyed the cool evenings and mornings. We look forward to coming back.
