Very quiet and peaceful.
Lots of privacy, recently upgraded to satellite TV and Internet.
This property is a lovely place to stay with all the conveniences of home in a beautifully outfitted guesthouse. Far enough off the beaten track to be a quiet escape but just a short drive to Roseburg. Owners are great; friendly people and the farm is a pleasure to see. The view out the back is classic Oregon.
We spent 3 days at this lovely guesthouse - relaxing and reading. Sitting on the porch swing affords a sweeping view of the property down to the trees by the creek and the hills beyond. Enjoyed the cows, chickens and goats. Even had farm fresh eggs and blueberries. Terry is very friendly and helpful.
Sam built the house and the adjoining "mother-in-law" apartment and it is wonderful - modern, spacious, well designed. Although he and Terry cannot take credit for the scenery, they sure picked a great place to build both structures. Accommodations were wonderful and special touches like fresh fruit and homemade muffins added to our stay.
This was a beautiful and peaceful place for us to unwind and relax. We brought the Harley and rode over 500 miles throughout the area. The home is very neat and clean with a charming atmosphere. The deck out the back offered views of a mountain filled with pine trees. We saw the full moon through the smoke from recent fires in the area and it was beautiful. The owners are very kind and generous, and also very fun to talk to. They have an awesome new puppy named Molly who is precious. She kept us entertained, for sure. Wonderful place to stay!!! We'd come back again!
My husband and I just returned from our stay at Sam and Terry's farm. What a treat! We needed a break from our stressful city life and their place was perfect! Very gracious hosts, beautiful countryside, peace and quiet! If you're looking to get off the grid for a while, this is the place! We will definitely return. Thanks again Sam and Terry!
