2 bed luxury apartment close to Fuengirola and La Cala de Mijas with garden

The apartment is located in the Los Iris residential development in the Cerrado del Aguila Golf Resort, on the outskirts of the lively town of Fuengirola. Ideally situated to explore the delights of the Costa del Sol.

With a private garden and patio, the ground floor apartment is ideal for families, golfing breaks and winter lets, accommodating 4 people.

Los Iris has a large communal swimming pool and there are additional golfing and sports amenities at the resort clubhouse, 10 minutes walk away. Nearby there is horse-riding, and the Miramar shopping centre, which also includes a multiplex cinema, is just a 3 minute drive.

The golf resort clubhouse provides a pro-golf shop, fully equipped gym, spinning and exercise classes and floodlit paddle-tennis courts, as well as restaurant and snack bar and terrace overlooking the course. The golf course itself is a 9-hole professional course, with driving range.

The resort is quiet and peaceful, yet within easy access of the larger resorts such as Marbella, and the apartment has easy access to all amenities, including the local market for bargain hunting, and many excellent restaurants for eating out.

Why Steve & Jan Haworth chose Mijas

When we first viewed the apartment, it was still being built, but we loved the layout and the fantastic view and decided this was where we wanted our place in the sun.

The development was built as a residential development, not a collection of holiday apartments, so it's fairly quiet, but the apartments are great to live in, whatever time you spend there.

What makes this apartment unique

The development has a security gate, lovely communal pool (which doesn't get crowded) and a great atmosphere, so you can really relax.

And because it's close to both Fuengirola and La Cala, there's plenty to do and see within a short distance. Or you can enjoy the golf and tennis right on the doorstep.

A really nice house

We spent a wonderful holiday in this apartment.

It is very large, with two separate bedrooms which allow a perfect privacy.

It's well equipped, you have everything you need to enjoy yourself at home.

Definitely one of the highlights is the swimming pool, always available and never crowded.

It is not near the sea, but it is a perfect starting point to reach many different beaches.

We thank the owner who was very helpful with his availability.

Despite the heat of Andalusia we did not need to turn on the air conditioning.

We will definitely return

Magnifique séjour

Nous avons passez un agréable séjour dans cet appartement, on s’est senti comme chez nous.

La résidence est située dans une localité qui se trouve à 7 min en voiture du centre-ville : agréable pour les personnes qui sont à la recherche du calme.

L’appartement est spacieux et bien entretenu. Il répond en tous points à la description.

Cuisine bien équipée avec tous ce qu’il faut, chambres excellentes, salles de bains propres, belle terrasse donnant sur le petit jardin privatif et grande piscine communautaire avec espace dédié aux petits.

Parking privatif à côté de l’appartement.

Le propriétaire été à l’écoute et soucieux de notre confort.

Nous recommandons fortement cet appartement et nous y reviendrons très probablement l’année prochaine.
